At the moment, no. You do find out some interesting stuff browsing through Wikipedia though.

That's quite a front. Super fun to watch him put on the act though. I always giggle a bit to myself when I watch his wine cellar interview in the movie. Perfect, just perfect; when he pauses for dramatic effect, then says in that thick accent "Satan" and takes a sip from his glass. I can't help but think he practiced that in front of the mirror. Hehehe.
I suppose he would be an interesting conversationalist. I guess I wouldn't mind chatting him up at a pub either.
Like I said if you've got any more links post em. I love learning about this stuff.

Gaahl seems like one of those people who have went beyond genious and are bordering on insanity a little bit. Either way, I would love to be able to meet him and have a few glasses of wine or something. Very interesting person. Don't know if it is true or not, I just read it somewhere, don't remember where. Gaahl actually follows druidism instead of satanism, just puts on the satanism front to get his point across.

Right on once again CCK. I know the vid was a little light on Korn but glad you appreciated it anyway. You know, no matter what ya' listen to there IS a great sense of community in the heavy metal family. Outcasts and rejects unite! That's what the film really brought home to me.
Watched it again just a little while ago, and god I wanna go to Wacken. It looks like such a blast. Ahh some day, some day.

Yep that's the vid I'm talk'n about Jon, and thank's for the link. Man, Gaahl is a special, special person. I'm a little creeped out by him, but not so much that I'd be afraid to be trapped in an elevator with him. (yes, that's my gauge of super crazy, the elevator test).
I thought it really was too bad about those old churches going up. I'm kinda a lover of old architecture. And to think, some of them were originally old pagan churches. Big ooops on their part I guess.

No prob about the recommendation SFC. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have. Hey, if you all have other recommendations for music videos/documentaries don't hesitate to post 'em. Lord knows we could always use a bit more noise on this team.

That was the one that went through all of the genres of metal, yes? If it is the one I am thinking of it was amazing. I really liked the look into the black metal and such.

Here is a link to another little documentary on True Norwegian Black Metal. It is mainly on Gorgoroth and Gaahl in particular. Still very interesting for those interested.

Take care.

Oh man, if you guys haven't checked out this video you should put it on your Netflix list, or better yet, buy the darned thing. It's well worth the money. The narration that comprises the actual documentary is so-so but the interviews in the extras disk are outstanding. We're talk'n Lemmy, Dio, Dimebag, Dee, Dickinson, Cooper and a whole crap-load more! (Wow, that was a crap-load of D's. Hehehe)
I know I sound like a commercial but I can't help it. It rocked.
Check it out guys. Metal: A Headbanger's Journey.
