that is funny.

a few years ago, friends and i went to an ozzfest show the day after 2 back to back dave mathews band shows. here in ct, dave matthews band shows get really crazy for some reason. there was just trash everywhere throughout the area around the venue. it was disgusting and gross! my friends and i laughed because it's us rockers at shows like ozzfest that have a bad rep, when we're a bit more courteous. it took the city the whole day to clean up after dmb, finally clean after we got out of our show! haha

sometimes us rockers are just misunderstood!

This isn't about metal but it is about music. A guy in one of my classes told us about odd experiences he had while working at Hastings. You know how they have special midnight releases of some media items when you can come and pick up your reserved copy of whatever? Well they were having a double release of The Passion of The Christ and the new ICP album. You can imagine the difference between the people waiting in line for either item. My classmate said it was one of the nastiest crowds they ever had to deal with at one of these midnight releases. The staff had their hands full with all the pushing and fighting and cussing, and general rude behavior. We all empathized with him that music fans can get rowdy sometimes.
But he laughed and said "No you've got it all wrong. It was the people waiting for The Passion, who were flying off the handle. The ICP fans were polite, patient, and very courteous."
I just though that was hilarious and had to share.
