Thanks for the reply! Most of that I usually do, but the running is new and I usually don't double up on swimming and tennis in one day. The opportunity was there and it was a beautiful day, so I went. I'll see how it feels later.

truly, this is a case of only YOU know your limitations. I know I get ankle pains (46 btw) every single time I do cardio. Don't know why, but I push through and it settles down.

You, however, sounds like you truly may have overdone it. C25 is every other day with a 2 day period in between weeks (3x a week) so,kind of get a feeler if you need that extra day now or ?

good luck!!

Hi - I'm new and just started running again this week. I did the first interval 4 days ago, followed by tennis monday the next night, 3 mile walk the next, and then I think I overdid it trying to swim laps and do tennis on the same day. Today when I walk up my ankle is so sore I'm limping! I had a knee injury in tennis a few months ago, and that contributed to my weight gain as it was a slow recovery. The knee seems to be okay, but my ankle is very sore today.

Is it better to push through the soreness or hold off until it's better? I haven't run much since college, but I do walk, swim and play tennis. The muscle soreness doesn't concern me, but I wasn't expecting the ankle pain and stiffness. I'm 50 btw.
