I'm doing the program on an elliptical machine. There's a dog problem in my neighborhood, so I can't run outside, and the elliptical is easier on my joints than a treadmill would be. We've got a small TV and Blu-Ray/DVD player mounted where I can see it from the elliptical, which helps alleviate boredom. Lately I've been watching past episodes of Game of Thrones while working out.

Angelmama0919 you mentioned an app was it the c25k app or was it something for the elliptical? I would like to try this was going to use my running app to record. just figured out how to strop tracking miles and to use for tread or elliptical.

I did part of C25K on the elliptical when I got plantar fasciitis. I did find it boring, but no more boring than the treadmill, and they are really easy on your joints.

I personally haven't tried it, but I can't see why not! It might be a way to make it a lot less boring and challenge yourself. I know when I've used the elliptical I've done HIIT on it- so after warm up, going slow, then fast, then moderate, then fast, then slow... etc. Which I found made it more of a challenge and kept my brain interested too. So I'd imagine the C25k on it would be similar and worth a try!

Has anyone ever done the program on an elliptical? I've got one, but I don't like to use it that much because it's well...boring LOL. I downloaded the app yesterday. I've know about the program for a while, but I haven't done it because I don't have anywhere to go to walk/run. I thought about doing the program on the elliptical. Good thought? Bad? Ideas? Input?
