I finished C25K a few months ago but have a friend who's just starting out and I helped her with a Week 1 workout. Well, I think I helped -- I was very perky and kept encouraging her, but may have been a bit too bubbling. Haha. Anyway, it was an awesome reminder of how far I've come and definitely empowering! And she did say it helped her, as well.

Hello all--just throwing this out there...

I just started week 5 of training. Last week I decided to start helping a new runner get started and put them on week 1. So now I am doubling up with my run first followed by their run immediately after. So far it's going really well.

emoticon It's fun to help someone else reach their goals.
emoticon I have always struggled with cardio activities--give me strength training any day. I'm no gazelle, that's for sure, so following my workout with the earlier weeks gives me a little bit more of a push beyond. I'm always so sure I'm DONE after my workout, but the follow-up workout always proves me wrong.
emoticon It's a major confidence boost! It wasn't all that long ago that I was huffing and puffing through week one. It just shows me how far I've come!

Anyway, I just wanted to bring it up since it's worked so well for me. Maybe someone else midway or further through might be looking for an extra push. Go back and repeat the early weeks after your workout. Maybe it will work for you too!
