Definitely slow down the walk intervals! 3.5mph will let you recover to run the 2nd 8 minutes. A few sips of water at that point will help, too. Good luck getting unstuck!

All those tips sounds good, and I will also add - don't give up!
It took me over 6 months to finish the '9 week' program but I don't mind at all. The point isn't how long it took me; the point is I got there in the end! And you will too.

Are you doing it on a treadmill or outside? If treadmill try slowing down the 2nd part of the run and see how you feel. If you are doing it outside and are using a device to know speed do the same. If you are going by feel then you will have a harder time in guessing but your body will know if you are slowing. If still not working try cutting 2nd run in half with a minute walking. The start cutting down that time to 45 seconds, then 30, then 15 until done.

Don't worry about repeating as it is perfectly normal. It will come in time with your patience

I am really stuck on W5D2. I think I have attempted 3 or 4 times. I can do the first 8 minutes, walk 5 minutes but then can only do about 5 minutes of the 2nd 8 minute run. I am running at 4.2 and walking at 3.9. Maybe I am trying to walk too fast? Any ideas will help.
