I just finished it (and my first 5K last weekend) and I only lost 5 lbs. BUT I lost a clothing size and need a belt to hold up most of my pants now.

When I did it a few years ago I lost about 20 lbs. I didn't see loss until about the 4-5 week period- then it started "melting" off.
Now, I'm restarting it (after a baby and some lazy seasons) and hoping to see that loss again. I know diet is sooooo important so I'm hoping this time around, combined with tracking and cleaner eating, I can see that loss again (hopefully more if I keep going and become a runner).

No weight loss here. I will be forced to *sigh* track my eating.

I lost all my extra poundage on the Dukan diet while doing the c25k. That was 2011 and with the contined running I have kept it off. So yes you have to have a complete lifestyle change but it feels so good once there!

The intervals have definitely helped me shed inches, especially in my belly and hips, and some weight--at first. But then I hit a plateau, and it wasn't until I started carefully tracking my food on SP and cutting out excess snacks that I started losing weight again.
