If you have an android phone there is an app called RunDouble and it has the Couch 2 5K program on it. The first 2 weeks of the program are free; to access the remaining weeks you have to purchase an upgrade, but it's only $1.59. And you can choose a timed version or a distance version. It also has plans for a 10K program, a 5K improver program and even an half-marathon trainer.

I read over the week by week schedule and and really want to try this. 5 years and 40 pounds ago I ran 3 miles a week, I know not much but I loved it. Now I can run to the mail box at the end if the drive way with out being out of breath so I think this is a great way to start.

Not having an iPhone, I found an app called Ease into 5K and it will work on my iPod Touch. I'm excited because it follows the same plan for the C25K! Wahooo!

I picked the plan I intend to follow (starting today) by choosing a 5K and then counting the weeks until that 5K (7) and then using Google to find a 7-week plan (at least two exist!).

I think I used Cool running as well (I converted it to a spreadsheet).

It's actually on "Cool Runnings.com" (I'll post the link here in a sec. If you have a smart phone look up the C25 app and it will tell you when to start and stop .. it's nice because you can do your own playlist in the background.

There are also podcast that play their own music but it's nice.

Good luck!!
