I was using My Tracks but I just switched to Endomondo and I like it a lot better!

I use a combination of Runkeeper (for tracking my intervals and stats) and Zombies, Run! (mostly for fun, but it also tracks distance, speed, and calories burnt). I highly recommend both apps, and they run fine concurrently on Android.

I used C25K to start. Later, I switched to 10KRunner, but my favorite so far is lolo's Easy10K with Jeff Galloway.

I use the free version of Run Keeper as well. It makes interval training actually possible lol

I use Runkeeper (the free version) and totally love it! I just program in my intervals for my runs and get cues for when to change. It also gives me my mileage and pace every five minutes (which I could turn off if I wanted to, but I like having it). It keeps track of all my activity (I can use it for non-C25K stuff, too), and it'll work great once I finish the program, too. Plus, I can have a "street team" of friends who also use the app, giving a bit of social media to it.

I got the couch to 5k and the couch to 10k running apps that we're free. I used the 10k app today and it's fantastic! It lets you listen to your music plus tells you when to walk and when to run! I'm not one who likes paying for apps, so if you are like me and want a great app to help you out, this one is great!

I use Nike+ to track myself, I listen to my music and Zombies, Run! for entertainment, and make my beau keep track of my times of when to walk/run

I'm not sure if this is discouraged since it could be seen as "advertising", but I'm hoping the Team Leaders will allow it.

I had tried C25K once before and had to stop previously because of really bad shin splints, but now I'm back. To get started this time around, I decided to use an app on my phone instead of a podcast my ipod. One of my friends training for our first Warrior Dash (and race, ever) told me I should check out the app he downloaded to help him train.

The app is Couch-to-5K by active.com. It's $1.99, but it's well worth it! It has loud transitions between jogging and walking, three different "trainers" to choose from, a playlist option to listen to music at the same time, a workout log, a 5K finder, and a GPS tool to track your distance and your route. I totally recommend checking this app out - it's great!

Do you use an app? I've also heard good things about the various zombie running apps too. Any of you use those??
