Corinna, my friend in CT could walk WAY faster than I could run!

My pace is really like a hopping stroll emoticon

Great job getting to the gym instead of running outside! I may try that option today.

no way! That IS great :o) about 2 miles or less is all I can do in this exreme heat as well, then it feels like one is going to pass out.

GREAT job! My timing for the 30 minutes has consistently been around 2."something" miles...so basically 15+ minute miles which my girls laugh at because they can "walk it in 10!!!!"

whatever. LOL

so GREAT JOB!! We're getting there!!!

Man, did I get humbled by the heat and humidity this morning. All the looking at my feet and saying, "I can do it I can do it" in the world wasn't going to keep me from passing out on the sidewalk.

I finally had to give up at around 2.5 miles and walk home. Once I got inside I got a drink and then jogged around the inside of my house (in the cool AC).

I finished my 5K in 41 minutes, so my time was pretty bad, but at least I finished!
