I love Robert Ullrys podcasts. I was able to load them onto my little iPod so you might give it a try. The other thought is to buy a Timex Ironman watch. They are not very expensive from Meojers or Walmart. You start chrono then after 60 or 90 sec you hit the split button. It gives you your overall time as well as the amt of time in the split you are running.

I have made my own playlist for my IPOD. I made use of a free music editor (Audacity is a good one - google audacity audio) and a microphone attached to my PC.

I chose 30 minutes (or however long you want to be out there) and pasted them together. I created a separate track and recorded my voice saying "change now". At the designated interval, I paste the "Change Now" along the track. I also have "End Now" at the end of the Run/Walk section. Then I export it to MP3 and call the track Week 1. I have different music for each week.

okay so here's what you do. Google "C25 podcast" and download them to your iPods. The two most popular are "Robert Ullreys" who has his own type of music, but upbeat with the timing or "Suzi's (I think it's called kissmyblackass.com) which plays a lot of upbeat R&B/HipHop/80s/fun music.

Put them on your iPod and they will keep track of the time for you. It's great!!!

See? no excuses. LOL

Ok, so I don't have a smartphone and my ipod is an old school one that doesn't allow apps. So, I have no way of tracking my time while I'm running. I tried using my ipod's stopwatch feature and just kept hitting lap, but every once in a while it would clear everything and I got all messed up. I ended up just doing my own variation of walk/run for 20 mins.

Any suggestions on a good way to time without an app?
