Not sure what to call what I did last night. haha

I technically should be doing Week 9. What I did however since I ran the 5K last Saturday was see if I could run more and walk less. I jogged for 47 mins total. That was 3.2 miles. I walked 3 minutes to start and then jogged until the last 2 mins. So all total I jogged for 42 mins.

Compared to my 5K over the weekend which was exactly 3 miles in 38.45 mins, I have slowed down a little. Last nights 3 mile mark was 44 mins. But I jogged more and no walking. So now I just need to keep at it and work on increasing my speed a little at a time.

This weekends 5K is 3.2 miles and has 2 pretty good hills.

Completed W3D2 today - think I will add an extra run in on D3 to give me a little push for Week 4.

Glad to here you got your day 2 done. It is funny how you can really tell the difference just in one run, isn't?

Yes definitely with you. I have started a few times and have not completed it (1st time stopped at 5 weeks, 2nd time stopped at 7) so I plan to complete it this time and run a whole 5km in September. I am on week 3 at the moment with 5mins runs thrown in just to make sure I'm ready for week 4. But I'll try and remember to blog my progress on my page.

I love runningintoshape.com even if some of the music I have never heard before!! LOL It is definitely upbeat to say the least!

I have just started week 3 and I have my 3rd 5K on August 5th. I am hoping that this will be the one I can run the entire way!!

We can do this!!!

Works for me. I need to get better and updating my page anyways. I did my first 5K this weekend and my second is this coming weekend. Still having to walk some but try to keep it to a minimum. Working on time and running the whole thing now. So this sounds great. I'd like to run my third 5K in September and not walk any.

I'm with you! I've done a few 5Ks in the past, but I've never run the whole way. I'd love to do it! I've also tried to turn myself into a runner before, but I've never stuck with it. Here's hoping the slow interval style of the C25K will work! I'll be starting tomorrow and will post on my page as well. Thanks for the motivation!

I've started the C25k training and am tracking it on my page each day that I complete one. I did Week 1, Day 1 just yesterday. I have started this before but quit around Week 4. This time I'm definitely gonna finish it. I did my first 5k a couple weeks ago and now I'm determined to jog the whole way next time. My next 5k is October 2nd so this gives me plenty of time to prepare for it. Your welcome to track it on your own page just as I have mine. Just copy and paste what I have.
