I don't weigh in daily, but I do weigh in on Sunday and Wednesdays. Fluid can fluctuate so much from day to day, I get too frustrated if I do daily, LOL, so I try to refrain from that. I find twice a week is good enough for me.

on track. :-)

tmrw fish taco day would be a test for my will power. started planning out my meals so i dont get sucked into the wknd wild ride..

1 lb by one sweaty lb, leaving 140 ville! if i have to crawl, I will.

last day of april. still on track to leave 140 ville.... june..... SoBe.....

packed my bfast and lunch the nite b4. much easier to control than say going out for lunch. Especially very turned off after learning that most restaurants are very free with oils....

did great over the wknd. sans drinks. nice! and cut back on salty food.

how i knew im back in 140ville? I didnt even have to weight myself . While i looked at myself in the mirror in the gym, the once "very loose" workout tshirt which i considered to throw away is getting tight about my belly....

Thats when i knew i cant turn a blind eye anymore and just kept pizzing-beering away.

wow. back on wagon. stop kidding myself. i dont have a magic body. over eat=over weight...
simple as that.

my goal is to drop at least the 7 i gained by june 20th. ideally, i'd like to drop 1 /wk.

adding wed workout. fri weight. i think 3 times/wk isnt enough. i used to do at least 6/wk. slacked off cos the winter had been so freaking cold gym just wasnt calling my name per se...

147. very disappointed at myself.... but at least i didnt turn a blind eye. i faced my 140 ville weight head on. so, not happy about the weight, but, back on wagon to deal with it.

wow, for only half year of not watching, 10 lbs! wow! wanting to kick myself for all the junks and alcohol i indulged. as if i was on a perpetual vacation the past half year thinking i reached my goal and all bets are off....!!

WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!

ok enough rant... now, think june. think hot pink bikini! my goal is the drop the 10lb by the end of June! i can do it!!!!

also need to kick up the workout. not enough cardio....

im hightailing back to 140 ville.... half year not being good about my food choices...

today is easter and the day of my new leaving 140 ville program...

i felt the pants r tight the double chins r back... so, i know im back in 140ville...

half year of not watching, not logging food.... picking myself up and climbing back on the wagon... im going to south beach in june, so, NEED to leave 140 ville by then.... need to think my pink bikini situation.....!!!

I dont know when it happened. but somehow, while I wasnt obessively weighting myself daily, hoping to leave 140 ville, i saw 137! I thought i will never break my plateau which hoovering around 140 forever, (granted, I did have a busy social summer... so, food.drink. the works)

so happy..... seeing 137 for about 1 wk now, so, i guess it is safe to assume im in the range...

feel like a really really gd beer to celebrate!! maybe some really good pita... :D

141.... slowly but surely... fend off the party food. save cal for this wknd. really the body is never not looking.. i meant no way to fool the body with the excess calories... had a beerful past wkdn. so cant really complain too much about 141... worth it thou. such a beautiful wknd.

142.... need to be patient and keep pushing..... a bit sick, so, not having a lot of energy to do cardio. but, more gentle exercise.. walking, level 1 yoga...etc sleep a lot to recover. drinking tons of water...etc

all is gd.

142... hoping to be 141 by the end of the wk...

discovered a new food lafah. sort of like pita, but slightly fermented. sort of interesting texture. I wasnt gonna eat the lafah /pita with my salad. but, was surprised by the texture. so, i ate one. maybe 200 cal. but, it was interesting and delish....

gonna be gd for 5 days food wise. but, might have higher cal on wknds. social events. but, also whole lot more active, so, essentially, is a wash...

142. TOM. so, over the wknd, i had sushi+ sake /pizza + 2 beers.... not too bad.

such a pleasant wkend.... outside alot. so, i guess it somewhat cancel each other out...

just keep it going... understand that summer will be a bit more social events going on...

been watching food intake. (social drinking/salt) (also mental note to self, trader joe's grounded flaxseeds w blueberries has added corn syrup i could not believe it. I wanted kick myself for not reading the labels. im always at reading labels, but, i was tired when i went shopping and thought its the same thing as sold in wholefoods, you know, grounded flaxseed is grounded flaxseed....... ) I had 4 tbs till i was waiting for the water the boil, so, i just read the label to kill time. long be hold, corn syrup and bunch other ingredients. unbelievable....)

yesterday was such a pleasant summer evening. I almost wanted to do my usual- hang out at the beer garden. Instead, i went biking.... drink water.... Did i regret it? no, I actually liked it. I liked the breeze on my face, i liked the time to process my thoughts, and i liked being able to do leisure rides for fun (vs sitting down at beer garden...)

they say it takes 6 mo for humans to learn a new behaviors with positive reinforcement. So, im hoping yesterday was the start of a new behavior.

hopefully down to 140 by aug 24. canoe trip. i really like the idea of becoming a stronger and fitter person on the canoe. very lewis and clark. i like it.

144 ... not happy, but, at least im in damage control mode... rather than just turn a blind eye like i've done so many times in the past....

goal:
1. lose 2 out of the 4 i gained by aug 3rd. (500 cal deficit/day=2 drinks+fries) the remaining 2 by aug 28th.

2. when i go canoeing, i need to be slimmer and stronger.

action plan:
1. reduce the assumption of social drinking to one glass (100cal) per event. replace with mineral water

2. log my food intake rather than in a "cheat meal" mode in summer.

3. watch out for fried /salty food i normally like to eat with i drink

4. practice cal cycling

high tail back to the 140ville.... summer parties. i became careless with my food/drinks intake.... horrible. when i feel the skirt was a bit snug... which was very loose 1 month and half ago....

caught myself slipping.... so now im back on..... warning signs.....
