I know how you feel. I'm working on losing weight and I'm plateaued at the moment. Adding time every day on my stationary bike.

Working towards my goal isn't easy since I work in a fast food joint. I snack while at work since I work in the kitchen.

That is so frustrating when your body won't cooperate with you. You'll get past it eventually. I've had a few plateaus on this weight loss journey. I'm working hard to get to the 130's and I'll see it eventually.

The first thing I always suggest to people is to change up the workout. Do something different and keep it random. Muscles get used to specific movements and need a shock every now and then!

I know this is going to sound NUTS but I'm going to say it anyway: have you tried NOT exercising? sometimes the body just needs to rest. that's how i beat my plateau. and you dont lose any muscle mass in a week, and you can pick the exercise back up again once you are past the plateau!

I have a hard time getting below 149 too! I stopped tracking my food in Feb and my weight has gone back up 10 pounds!

I bumped up the exercise - went from 3-5 to 6-7 days a week and increased the intensity with interval and circuit training using DVDs

Are you drinking enough water? Getting too much sodium?? If it's not either of those, maybe try mixing something up. I find that when I stick to the same routine for too long then I hit a plateau. Another thing that has worked for me in the past is calorie cycling where you eat more calories on some days (usually on the days you exercise more) and less on others. It confuses your metabolism.
