Good bye dear friends. I am taking myself off the team, so I can devote more time and attention to 190Ville. You are in good hands. Just keep posting and get over to 190Ville as soon as possible.

Still 198, but finally beat the sugar cravings.

If I don't get a grip on this sugar addiction soon, I am going to have to check back in here.

I was at 198. Lately it has been Oreos and icecream. Icecream is such a no no for me. I love it, but it messes up several systems.

How's everyone doing? Did you manage to stay away from too many Easter sweets? I had some chocolate and jelly beans, but did extra cardio to even it out.

I'm at 208 and hoping to get down a few more pounds soon. How about you?

I will just have to buckle down and crawl under the eaves and see if I can find another box with kitchen supplies in it.

Ya ugh, that can be frustrating! I got a Magic Bullet for Christmas and use it, haven't tried it for much else than my smoothies. I have a mini chopper for garlic, onions, fresh herbs and such.

Green tea for me. Wish we had some fresh cherries, but our cherry trees have not even bloomed yet. here.

Cooked up the corned beef I picked up on sale for St. Patty's Day. I threw cauliflower in with it and it was heavenly, but the spices and seasonings do a number on my weight, blood pressure and vertigo. It is a good thing I only eat corned beef once a year. I think next year, I will just go out to eat it. I need to learn moderation with these treats.

So anyway, I am visiting 200Ville, but refuse to bring my bags or check in. I am determined to get this off immediately and get down to 193 by this time next week.

It's Happy Hour at the Community Club! What does that mean?

Well, when I think of "happy hour" I think of a bar with drinks at half price. So what kind of bar should we have? A juice bar? What would be your drink of choice? How about a nice fruity smoothie! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I also think of people chatting. What do you have to chat about? Tell us about your weight journey! Or just chat about anything!

Another fun thing to do with water is to freeze a little natural juice of any kind in the bottom of a bottle, then add your water to the top. It changes the flavor of the water each time you take a sip. When you get away from the soda completely, the subtle flavors of juice flavored water start to pop.

I probably don't drink more than six to ten sodas a year, but it came with the stupid meal. I managed to limit the fries. I will have to learn to dump soda too even if it has no calories or ask for a water substitute.

Linzee, don't beat yourself up, just get back in the saddle, you will be with us in no time.

I looove lemon water! I also bought something called "MiO" at Wal-Mart about 2 weeks ago..it's a flavor for you water that is calorie free :) I love it - adds a little something and it lasts a really long time! I don't drink soda's or anything - water - coffee and sometimes ice tea :)

Linzee - I used to be a big picker but not anymore! I would always taste my food as I was cooking or baking or snack on something before dinner. A good way I stopped myself from doing that is chewing gum while I cook or bake :) I am a gum lover and always pop in a piece when I feel like I am getting the munchies when I shouldn't haha. You will see onderland in no time if you constantly remind yourself why you are changing your lifestyle :) Everyday is a new day which means new changes and a better you! Keep up the good work and if you need anything I am here for ya!!!

OK. I weighted in yesterday at 209 because of all the picking. I'm stopping that if I want to see Onederland. Read all the tips on 200 ways to get under 200 and they helped me with new ideas! So for me it's the beginning of a new week and hopefully I will see the scale move down this week.

We mostly drink lemon water, green tea and well water here too. Unfortunately, I had a diet Pepsi and am paying for it with a plunge in blood sugar and caffeine high which will keep me awake all night.

Sun was shining and it was warmer, almost 61 degrees. Nice day with GD, visited DD too.

Everything healthy in the kitchen.

2/3rds pot fresh veggies in a variety of colors
some dried beans in a mixed bean pkg. (many colors)
a little leftover meat if you are not a vegetarian. (I am still working on turkey from Thanksgiving.)
Experiment with spices and or Healthy Request soups, such an cream of celery for seasoning. (used chili seasoning packet in my last batch)
Sometimes I add rice, lentils, split peas.
I always add a can of tomatoes
Split into single serving sizes and freeze for quick and easy meals.
No pot ever tastes the same.
Have fun.

What was it about this weekend. I gave myself a planned break on Saturday and it ran into Sunday. I am afraid to step on the scales and won't until I know my weight is back down. Luckily, I made a bunch more rainbow soup. Drinking green tea and vinegar helps stop the cravings. So with the inspiration from you and SP and I am ready to get right back on that horse and ride like the wind.

Great attitude, Linzee! I also had a bad weekend, food-wise, and I have decided to blog about it and examine WHY, so that I can focus on those reasons. I've been so good for 3 months and have gone off course 3-4 times in the past week, grrrrrrr! WE CAN DO IT!

I am glad this weekend is over. It seemed all I did was pick, pick, pick! I haven't been counting calories, if I was perhaps this wouldn't have happened. I am going to kick it up a notch this week. I think it's time to start counting calories again. I am so close to onederland. I don't want to blow it now! I am afraid to get on the scale to see how much damage I did. emoticon One positive thing. A few months ago if this would have happened I would have quit! I am a type of person it 's all or nothing. I think that is one of the reasons I am succeeding this time. When I fall so to speak I get right back up and continue marching forward. I have a goal. It's not just about numbers anymore but a healthy life style. I am actually enjoying and craving healthy foods now! I've come a long way.

I had a June 24th Wedding, I married my husband on my Birthday, Good for him because now he has one day to remember two occasions but bad for me because now if I want to just go out with the girls on my actual B-day I can't because it is also my anniversary! This year I will go for 2 nights(whole weekend) of celebrating even more because I will be in my little black dress that hangs in my kitchen window for motivation! ;)

Happy April Fool's Day! Did anyone do anything funny today to celebrate?

My husband married his ex-wife on April 1st. Obviously, it didn't last (since he's now married to me) but they should have known by the date! They eloped and didn't realize what the date was.

Cathy, you're welcome! Once we move on over to your new town, it will be more lively. Good job on the 1/2 pound loss. I lost a half pound since Friday and hope to lose another half pound before this coming Friday.

Old clothes: I have some clothes in my closet that I don't think I've ever worn. One top I bought in Europe 15 years ago and I keep it just because I like looking at it in my closet because of the color! Kind of like art. I should get rid of some other things. I actually don't have too many clothes because I'm pretty good at purging. I rarely dress up so all my clothes are super casual.

I totally agree with needing new clothes or risking a wardrobe malfunction! I bought a belt and have been using it pretty steadily.

My name is Julie and I'm from Milpitas, California!

MIPCY: Being the child of depression era parents I struggle with the waste not/want not attitude. I have only moved six times in 57 years. I am slowly purging the house, but have a long way to go. That is why I joined the Organized Life team. Maybe the two of us can find balance.

SP Leaders: Thank you for the beautiful going away suitcase. I moved to building #8 at 190Ville and am in room 5. It was nice to have good luggage to make the move closer to the marina and fabulous view of 180Ville.

I've spent the past few years moving from dorm room to dorm room with everything I owned. I'm used to getting rid of anything I don't actually need. Now that I'm in a more permanent place, I'm having to learn to hold onto things to see if I'm going to need it later.

Pregnancy is a very good reason to hang on to your clothes. Glad you got rid of the unnecessary clothes.

It was so hard for me to do at first, because I kept thinking I might need them. Now I just feel free!

I'm holding onto them for when I get pregnant in a couple years, hopefully. Most of them would work very well for the first few months. I've already donated what I can't or won't wear. I'm not holding onto them "just in case" I gain it all back. I may also alter some of them when I go visit my mom. I don't have a sewing machine yet, and it's better if I just wait instead of hand sewing. I end up just making a mess...

Unless you sew, donate those too big clothes now. Don't get sucked into the hoarding mentality. You are strong, healthy and do not need to hoard clothes or fat.

Somehow, I managed to keep all of my clothes from high school, which is a really good thing, because otherwise, I wouldn't have pants or t-shirts for working out. I wish I could shop at the thrift stores around here, but they don't have anything age-appropriate in the sizes I wear. I had to box up another bunch of clothes today! My storage closet is going to have more clothes in it than my closet will!

Yes, but it has been great fun donating clothes to good will. Now that I am retired, I don't have to replace many of the work clothes and I was lucky to have a friend donate me size 12 to size 24 uniform slacks that are high quality. The 24 and 22's went to good will. I have some 18/20's from five years ago, but some of those are starting to get sloppy looking. I am only shopping at Good will for necessities till I get to a healthy weight and size. It is really time to purge the closet again.

Onederland is kind of quiet, I am just back here visiting only. I was down another 1/2 pound today. Interesting thought. Five years ago I got to and plateaued at 223 but was doing PT for my back which involved a lot of core strengthening exercises. My waist is the same size it was then, but my hips legs and arms are smaller. I think I need to incorporate more core exercises into my routine, so clothes will fit correctly.

I don't know about y'all, but this weight loss thing is starting to get expensive. I'm starting to be forced to buy new clothes or risk an embarrassing moment! I know I'm going to have to buy another wardrobe at the rate I'm going.

The house is too quiet, but I sure need the rest. Hit Onederland today. I will come back through the month of April to train the new Hotel managers.

I took the 10 and 12 year old cousins indoor rock wall climbing today. Of course the ten year old boy was a monkey. This was the first time GD tried it. But she had fun and took her time experimenting with different walls and techniques.

We had dried fruit and nuts with water for Happy Hour.

I agree. It did bring back the cravings full force, but I know those will be gone in about two more days. I can do anything for three days.

Sounds good Cathy. It's ok to eat those things now and then, we have to keep living! Sounds like a great St. Patty's day! If we deprive ourselves all the time then a healthy lifestyle just seems like that one chore we hate to do and we don't want that! :)

Enjoyed Corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots, a salad and soda bread at the Grange for St. Paddy's day. No Guilt, back to delicious nutritious and healthy food today in moderation.

For Happy Hour, I called my sis and told her all about our oldest Nephew's visit. I ate oatmeal with Greek yogurt on it. Quite yummy and very satisfying.
