In hind sight the inujury has been a kind off blessing in disguise as my knee is in better shape than it was before i injured it.

Still gutted that i didn't do it though. Will definitely be going back for another attempt.

Wow - I did the WHW last year. Although I was crazy enough to do Milngavie to Rowardennan in a day, I wasn't crazy enough to do the whole thing in 3 days.

And that section from Rowardennan to Beinglas can be treacherous - if there is anywhere along the track that a busted knee is going to happen, it is that stretch.
