Didn't go very far but I wanted to go for a run so I rode the bike to the track in a near by town. The track is next to a birding area so It is just beautiful to walk around. Ok I believe in safety so I wore my pants over my walking shorts, I had my jacket, helmet and my boots I carried my running shoes in a backpack. Yup in public I took off the pants so I could enjoy the walk and short ride. I know I could ride without all the gear but I have burned my legs and you never know when a crazy accident will happen.

After I got done with the walk I felt a few drops of rain. It has not rained here since Jan 15. Texas in a drought. But today got some rain. Glad I got home safe and sound.

sugar0814 - we rode up to Lewisville, AR last weekend with our chapter (Christian Motorcyclists Association) - it was a chilly ride! I think the top temp was 45*!! I don't have heated gear but I wear layers, that helps. But it was still cold, took us the rest of the evening to warm up once we got home!

I wanted to ride. It was beautiful in AR, but it was 47 degrees. I don't have any heated riding gear yet, so I didn't attempt to ride. I did see others enjoying the sunshine though.

We didn't go far, just rode to the AF base & then back home (about 15 miles each way). It was 52* today, but not a cloud in the sky so with coats & gloves on it was a great ride!

Lucky you! Speaking as one who is still in Indiana, it's only 19 degrees, so no riding for us today. Have fun!

It's supposed to be a beautiful day in NW Louisiana, so I think hubby & I will get out & ride! May be a little chilly, but nothing a couple of layers won't take care of! Love that we can do that in February! Being transplants from Indiana, we relish the idea that we can ride pretty much all year down here!
