Think I fixed the problem myself :) I noticed when I was walking in the new shoes that I was still over pronating- I am a MAJOR over pronator and have to wear serious motion control shoes. I re-laced the new ones and watched my gait to make sure it was "normal" and it was. I ran with them last night for the first time with no issues. Crazy that shoelaces made the difference!! But good to know that Luke's will answer questions even when you're not buying. I sent Patrick there a couple of weeks ago to buy his shoes and he LOVED it there.

Sorry Elizabeth, I haven't experienced that problem. You might want to swing by Luke's Locker at LaCenterra and ask. They are super helpful, even if you didn't buy shoes from them.

Hope you get it sorted.

Jane

I just got a new pair of running shoes that are EXACT duplicates of the ones that I have been wearing. Same size, same model, same year... everything. BUT I tried them out to walk on my treadmill last night- didn't want to run in them until I'd broken them in a little bit- my foot and knee started to hurt after about 30 minutes. I stopped walking since I am a big believer in stopping when I feel any sort of odd pain and this morning the ball of my foot still feels strange. Anybody else replaced their shoes with an exact model and still had issues with them?! I've never had a problem like this before.
