Im changing my breakfast to oatmeal with some kind of protein - probably a hard boiled egg - for about a week. I have eaten peanut butter and toast or rice cakes for my entire life.
Going to make the change------------------ just to see if it changes anything.

Leaving sunday for a week in Fla.......................... not sure how Im going to stay on any kind of plan................... but will try

Ate right - got some walking in = planked - recorded my food - but I wanted to cut the lawn and didnt get to that.

Im predicting tomorrows scale may say 133............................

I think it's the lower carbs. Or maybe it's a choice of better carbs, carbs that offer you better nutrition, like salad and other veggies. Did the most walking yesterday! Every week I try to do more, and my numbers are slowly increasing! Yay!!

amazing........................ after one day of junk eating ------------------- scale didnt move at all. I guess thats nice after so many days of healthy eating.

Im seeing 134 on that scale. Doctors appt today confirmed that.

Planking a full minute twice per day - walked to the gym -worked out strength training - walked home walked on the boardwalk this afternoon - and eating on the ighters side - higher protein and fat - lower carbs...................

Did 2-45second plank, 20 minute circuit training video, kept my calories in check today. I want to eat everything. Will instead drink some water and go to bed.

Probably could have made better eating choices on this weekend getaway but had tons of fun with my sister's 12 year old twins. Fast 3 days. Let's see what that scale says when I get home in the end we have to live and enjoy. So I did

I did 2 sets of modified pushups yesterday! Going to stick with that for a bit. I do them on an incline, standing up, using my kitchen counter to lean against. It works for me! Never did get to the basement yesterday. Decided to tackle the computer room. I cleaned out a bookcase, a filing cabinet, and a desk. Still have more to do, but I've made headway! Headed to the hardware store today. Love that place! They have stuff you didn't even know you needed!

you can plank anywhere your heart desires...................... just try it.
Im up to a full minute twice per day...

Scale is showing 133...... havent seen that number in a real long time.
Walking and working out almost every other day ----- and tracking everything.

Its all good.
Headed to my sisters for the weekend............. will be missing in computer action unless I jump on with the kindle. we shall see.

lots and lots and lots of exercise today.

walked to the gym - worked out -then walked home ( 3 miles)
this afternoon did a 5 mile walk with a friend.
cut my lawn - washed my car...........................
thats absolutely enough physical stuff for one dayplanked this morning................. will plank tonight.

Tracked food and ate right.

Im ON PLAN ---------------------- scale is down a full and solid 5 pounds - starting to see muscles with my gym workouts - and losing some fat........ I realize jusrt how fragile the eating element is of this equation................ and boy does that ever suck.

Walked to the gym - worked out - walked home - rode my bike - and will be doing some yard work this afternoon.............. so lots of physical stuff today.

Not sure why - but had a stomach flu for a few days - and since then Ive been much ore satisfied with less food. Heck of a way to shrink my eating .

Im doing a daily plank ( now up to 1 full minute..) twice per day. Its honestly strengthening my core - and I do it before a shower in the morning - and then before bed.

Liking it.

A busy day today: went to bank, then mailboxes plus store, then grocery shopping by myself! By the time I put everything away, I was tired! Tracked food and walking for today. There should be some way to track "grocery shopping" lol !

I am a cookbook-aholic!! I just gave away about 20 books that I had that were taking up shelf space. I need to do more "culling", because, yes, there are MORE. I'm also a recipe ripper-outer of magazines. I went through a stack of those that I could have used to wallpaper a huge room, and cut that stack down by half. Slowly, but surely am getting rid of "stuff".

Tracked all of my food and fitness. Not meeting numbers, but not overeating either. Enjoying fresh watermelon!

Ive been tracking almost religiously.................. and eating on the low carb side. Im getting used to not feeling so full all the time. Or my body is just adjusting to less food as normal. Thats a good thing. And the scale shows it - Im down a solid 5 pounds................ and the bloat is dimishing. Im drinking lots of water - at least 2 8 oz bottles per day and walking and getting to the gym regularly.
Have parted closeness from a long time good friend ( finally) so in a bit of a funky mood - but aside from that................. things are good. Also learned that a dear friend has abdominal cancer - which is sad. Hoping its something treatable and in early stages.

happy you are all here............... sometimes its good to share concerns........... lightens your load.

took my walking friend to the gym yesterday as a guest. I think she was surprised how touas tough my workouts are. It was fun................ maybe she will join also. Has a very bad back ------- has to be careful.,


Been religious with tracking food..................and have been eating fairly well too. Scale is down a full 5 pounds.......................... and Im keeping it off. Another weekend event planned for July 25. Wonder if I can get to the long wanted = long awaited under 130 by then?

happy June and time for a new challenge. Trying to keep it simple and do-able.

Lets not let go of the elements of the last few challenges.................. so

get out for a walk at least 5 times per week.
Track your daily food and learn what you are really eating and make changes for improvement. Decide what changes you are making and share them with the us. We can all learn from each other
NEW ELEMENT - work up to a one minute plank
Im attaching an article that talks about the variations of a plank exercise........... great for core strength. Start out simple with the knee plank and maybe time it for 30 seconds. on week 2 I will post the next step - which will be going up to 45 seconds............ mid month we can try to switch to the regular plank.............. ( for those who are ready) and then last week we can work on a full minute.................
