I went on vacation late August to Jamaica. I came back and found I LOST 3 lbs. How awesome is that? I was so energized and wanted to keep it going. I have been doing pretty well watching my daily calorie intake, but exercise is another story. Then school for my son started in September....and my house needed cleaning.... I have come up with so many excuses to not get to class and/or exercise it is down right ridiculous. I realized yesterday, I had a great night of sleep the night prior. I realized this while simultaneously yawning and wanting a nap after work. Instead of giving in, I took 20 minutes out of my day to do quick 10 minute aerobics and 10 minutes of stretching. I instantly felt more refreshed and energized than any nap or Starbucks could provide. In addition to the energy, the stretch provided me with a much needed flexibility and movement. That quick 20 minutes helped my aching nerve pain in my back and legs. I know this sounds crazy, but moving more keeps me pain free. I really feel a difference. I will never lose the nerve pain, so I need to keep moving. Why can't I stick with it? Why do I fall off track? Rather than come up with another excuse, back to the gym I go tonight.

And so here I am....again. I am setting a small goal to meet before the end of the year for weight loss, and I will take it from there. 3 small goals to begin to streak 1. log into Sparkpeople daily. 2. Move for at least 10 mins daily, and 3. Go to my high impact aerobic class every Tuesday. In the words of Bob Marley, "If you don't start somewhere, you're gonna go nowhere". emoticon
