I had plans to walk/bike last night but was afraid I was going to poop my pants if I did.

The good news is I'm back down 1.5lbs. Ha.


And I'm having dinner with some G* girls tonight, and was going to bring my work out clothes to hit the gym after and I forgot!!!

don't give up, gutter! remember that the mile total is arbitrary... that's just something we're doing because having a goal and playing with doofy alliteration is fun to do. the point is that you do something healthy for your body NOW. f*ck the fifty (there's some alliteration for you) and just go. just take a walk and eat a piece of fruit, pat yourself on the back, call yourself a hero, and get out of your funk. you're not a failure. i mean, if the point of this is about health and lifestyle, then if you're still alive you're not a failure.

Aww! Keep trying!! You only fail if you stop trying!!


Everything's been such a struggle for me - I struggle to eat healthy, I struggle to get myself to exercise, I struggle to not beat myself up over it and I struggle not to just give up. Its hard!


I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that food is the hardest thing for me. I have awful habits, and even if I do really well all week, it goes to crap on the weekends. I KNOW that I'm going to get NO WHERE unless I exercise, so I'm really trying to push myself to do it. Its hard and I'm not doing nearly as much as I should be, but I keep holding out hope that if I keep trying, something in me with eventually snap and I'll give it everything I've got.

I'm taking it easy for a little bit because my ankle's been bugging me big time lately. I couldn't really walk right for a couple of days after I went to the gym the last time, so I'm just trying to walk a little, but nothing significant.

Yesterday I went for a walk of about 4 miles. And this morning I walked to work which is 1.84

Friday I went for a crazy huge walk for about 3 hours! Too bad it was still August :)

Yay!!!

I did some!!!

I biked 9 miles. :55 minutes.
This is why I think biking miles is kind of cheating becuase I could just do this 4 more times and practically be done - but exercising 5 times in a month won't do me much.

So, I'm doing 15 days AND 50 miles.

Good job!

I wish I had a lake to walk around. Well, I guess I do actually, but its a dumb one and you don't get to walk around the whole thing.

There are a TON in the cities (land of 10,000 lakes!) but I don't want to drive a half hour just to walk.


I swear I'm going to do SOMETHING tonight.

8 miles... i was just going to do 5 (1 to the lake, 3 around, 1 home), but then i remembered this goal and did the lake twice.

now i smell really, really bad, but it was worth it!

I didn't leave my house ysterday so....no.


I'm going to try to knock a chuck down today with a bike ride. I think its hot out though so I'm not looking forward to it.

So, has anyone logged any miles or days of exercise yet?

I'm currently at .5. Pathetic, but I did walk to a bus stop a couple of blocks down instead of the one near my house yesterday. Hopefully today I can knock some more down.
