i was talking about you, vikarious! your designs are so cute!

i came back to this thread because as i was eating my lunch, i realized that i made the *biggest mistake* in my post! i mentioned paying for supplies but not LABOR and we know how we crafty types need to be compensated for all the time and energy that goes into our work. i can't believe i did that!

and of course, we all understand being too busy to craft...

a miles count down would be cool.

and maybe there is another t-shirt volunteer?

Ooh!
I hope that's me you're talking about!!

I would love to make T-shirts for everyone, but I just don't think I have time! As of now, every weekend in Sept is booked (that's SO not like me! I love it!).

I could maybe design a miles count down .pdf shee though for us to cross of and use as motivation!

it's so glitter to stress alliteration...

i know at least one crafty gal on here makes super cute onesies (i'll let her identify herself) and i wonder if we all chipped in cash for supplies, if she could make shirts for grown-ups?

I assUmed the challenge would run from 9/1 to 9/30.

I haven't exactly been crafty lately, but the shirt idea is a good one.

I think walk/run/bike miles seem fair. So, 50 into Fall sounds good to everyone? And the start date would be 9/1? I know on another board I'm on, the next monthly challenge isn't starting until 9/4, so I figured I'd ask.

Ambitious, yes, but I might surprise myself and actually do it. Wouldn't that be something?

Last time we did miles it was walk/run/bike.
I did all walking miles though - 30.

I suppose I could shoot for 50 including biking miles.

i'm the new clueless one...i'm guessing mileage is about running?

because biking miles on a stationery bike is *comparatively* easy (did 18 miles yesterday in an hour and 10 minutes!) and can't be compared to swimming miles which is really really intense (one mile is a serious workout!) which is also a different thing than running miles (which falls somewhere in between, i guess)...

I would love to!

I don't know if I want to do a mileage sort of challenge or a "exercise this many of days" challenge.

It'd be nice if we could all do the same sort. I know there's no way I could do 50 right now - I could try for 30 but even that sounds high for me now (can we say relapse??)

Otherwise I'd be up for saying to get in exercise like at least 12 days. 15 days? Doesn't sound like much to some of you, but for me it'd be a huge accomplishment!

like a mileage challenge? like when we did 30 miles to may and stuff? we could do 50 miles to fall... i require alliteration in all things.

sure- since i'm pretty new, i'm not quite sure what a challenge means. but i'm looking for support in this process and a "challenge" sounds like the way to go!

Anyone feel like doing a challenge for September? Just throwing the idea out there.
