Um, a bunch? I don't count but I don't inhale. I am definitely trying to be very mindful about my eating and take my time and I find it difficult nowadays to eat very fast. But yeah, everything really tastes better if you savor if and get the maximum flavor experience. I think that helps you to feel more satisfied with eating less vs. not tasting it and just wanting to eat more.

I am not going to chew more times than my food needs. Its gross.

I normally wolf things down - so about 2 chews per bite.

I have discovered, though, that you get maximum flavor enjoyment of your food if you chew it many more times - at least ten. (I learned this at a coffee tasting, where they suggested "chewing" the coffee to further test its flavor).

I am going to try to chew my food more times! Up with flavor!
