Well, yesterday I had a slight obsession with some smoked salmon cream cheese... I went back for more like twice. Or three times.

Today I made some hummus for a party tonight... it is really good. I put a lot more olive oil in it for the party than I would if I were going to eat it myself. I ate some with some tortilla chips. It was good enough to get obsessed with, so hopefully someone eats it all tonight.

Ya'll are such goodie two-shoes!!

I went through a pretty severe french onion sunchips phase.

And then a pretty severe black pepper dorito phase.
(these were both over a year ago).

Then I went through a quinoa and couscous breakfast cereal phase. I might give this another shot because it was SOOOOOO good and actually (maybe) healthy.

Grape Nuts Trail Mix Crunch cereal. I'm not completely tired of this yet, but I'm sure by the time I go through the 4 boxes I have in my cupboard I will be.

And I also used to make egg/cheese/salsa breakfast burritos but got sick of them. I had one for breakfast this week though and I might be able to bring them back.

I'm still not sick of PB and english muffin for breakfast though - and I've had almost every day for YEARS now.

THIS SALAD:

It has feta, sliced almonds, mandarin oranges, and chicken and it is SO GOOD. I've been eating it for lunch almost constantly for a while, which is bad, because each one costs about $5.

I have one in the fridge right now and I'm going to dissect it and figure out how many calories are in it.

Then I'm going to just buy some lettuce (in a bag), feta, sliced almonds, mandarin oranges, and chicken and make my own every day.

Does anyone get fixated on a certain food and then you can't get enough of it until one day the switch flips and you won't eat it again for months?

Right now I am on a serious oatmeal kick. Its all I want for breakfast. I have been eating one serving of plain oatmeal, microwaved with water, with .5 oz. raisins and two teaspoons (unpacked) brown sugar almost every morning now for nearly 4 weeks. Sometimes I tell myself I am going to eat cereal or toast but I never do. I love it, I am addicted!

What are your food obsessions?
