at the gym I go to almost all of the cardio machines have personal tvs, and the ones that don't have headphone jacks to 4 big tv's at the front of the room. I found however that I keep a way better pace if I just use my iPod and ignore the tvs, so music all the way. Upbeat stuff like hella good and sexy back. If it makes me want to dance it makes me walk quickly.

Also, for at home exercises you should totally get a set of 5lb weights and a stability ball. Seriously, I think with those 2 things alone you could do just as good strength training as if you used an actual gym.

I find exercising at home hard. I have a nordic trach though, which sucks.

I think like anything, it'll work best if you schedule it in. Doing a half hour while watching your favorite show is a good way to do it.

I stink - I've completely blown off any sort of healthy anything for two weeks. Now that I have gained weight and want to lose it again, I am hungrier than ever. Bah.

Anyway, I ordered an elliptical machine to use at home. I have young kids and limited free time, plus there is ONE GYM in this little town and NO, I WON'T.

Any thoughts or suggestions or comments? Does anyone else have exercise equipment at home that you use? What do you do while you're exercising? (Music? What do you listen to to get yourself going?)
