Well, I managed to get enough fruits & veggies in yesterday. One thing I love about smoothies is that you can get like 3 fruit servings in one yummy glass.

Today's thing: drinking at least 64 oz. of water.

Hey, I like this one!

Today's is exercise. I need to get in at least 20min of walking or 30 of biking. Preferably lots more though.

And I've got full force period bloating so I'd like to drink lots and lots of water.

I didn't get to the gym tonight, inertia and school stress won out and I've been knitting on the couch all night. I am going to make my one thing going to gym in my 3.5 hour break between classes tomorrow.

My one thing for today is to finish one Constitution Law case between the time I get out of class and go home this afternoon so that I can go to yoga tonight and then relax and start knitting a sock.

Thats more of a chain-of-things but its necessary.

it's spring break! my one thing today is going to be finishing all the paint touch-ups needed in our bedroom (i painted most of it - 2 coats of primer & 2 coats of paint - by myself, and BOY was it a workout). then my second one thing is to go for a nice, long walk in the sunshine!

I just got back from an 11 hour road trip, and Thought about going to the gym, but, uh....I'm gonna skip it I think!

Tomorrow: Exercise! I have to do something with my Little Sister and it seems I can never do more than one "thing" a day. So I'll try hard.

Ok, I am L-A-M-E. No booty shaking last night. I invited my friend over for a movie pre-going out and it was so long that we were just too entrenched afterwards and we ended up staying on the couch watching the first season of Scrubs off my netflix. But on the positive side I was 138.8 this morning! I'm not recording anything until Monday morning but yay - think I busted my plateau!

oh, doesn't that make you mad! i went to taco del mar a couple weeks ago and ordered a shrimp burrito bowl. boy was i surprised when all the shrimp showed up breaded & fried! i picked off all of the breading and ate them anyway, but it really pissed me off at the time.

I WAS SABATOGED!!!! (and I can't spell!!!)

I asked for no mayo on my sandwich at JJs.
I got back to work, opened it up and there was mayo!!!

I just realized that I didn't do my last one thing! Instead of running I went to yoga for the first time in about 2 months. Tonight though, I will resist the siren song of Pilates and run. But I am thinking just a little about running outside after school and then going to pilates later on tonight to get both things in. Not sure yet. One thing: go to the gym and do something!

my one thing is to remain calm and not eat cupcakes in the face of the leak we discovered in our basement today. it appears to be coming from the bathtub drain and drips steadily from a hole in our basement ceiling through which also runs an electrical cord. electricity and water. yup.

who knows, maybe the repair will be so expensive that cupcakes are out of the question indefinitely anyway? whenever god closes a door, somewhere he opens a window... and punches you in the face.

The lure of fish 'n chips was too much for me tonight.
But I guess since I had salad for lunch and no snack (if you don't the licorice I ate :) it ends up being not so terribly bad. Right? :)



Tomorrow's ONE THING:

Exercise. Gotta do it since the rest of the week is booking up fast.

And, I'd like to attempt shopping for some new shirts - which is sure to make me upset.

I went to yoga and I feel much better. I kind of had a bad day all around and I don't want to yell obscenities at random strangers anymore so that's a step in a positive direction.

My one thing for tomorrow is going to be to not go overboard at a Sedar we are going to. Its catered middle eastern food but I don't want to go overboard on the pita and hummus.

i didn't do pilates last night so that i could bake chocolate & guinness cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. i feel so rebellious!

today's one thing is to go to the gym and have a good, long, strenuous workout. on friday afternoons i celebrate the end of the workweek by spending a lot of time at the near-empty gym. i like it when it's quiet there.

I did my one thing yesterday, which wasn't hard :)
Though, I think I took "don't be so hard on myself" the wrong way - I don't see how cheesecake fits into that.


Today, I actually have 2 that I'm shooting for, but we'll pretend it's one:

Ok, I didn't do my one thing yesterday. I was so tired from this crazy week at school that I couldn't even make it to the couch, I just walked in and sat down at the dining room table and couldn't get up. I think my body was trying to tell me that it was genuinely exhausted so I gave it a night of rest - movies and knitting! Its really nice out, chilly but sunny, so I am going to try to take a walk or bike ride this afternoon. And get this - its a Friday, right? And my husband actually said "we should try to go to the gym tonight" to me while I was still in bed half asleep this morning!!!!! This is big because usually I have to drag him to the gym, he goes but I know its not his first choice - and now, he's telling me we need to go, AND on a Friday night??? WOW!!!!

(My law school has classes M-TH and no class on Fridays so I have been staying home on Fridays to sleep in and then study which explains why I am still in bed Friday morning when he's leaving for work)

I walked last night!

Today's one thing will be hard - I think I'm having 2 meals out which is hard for me. And I have an appointment after work so getting in some exercise will be hard.

This has been a long week at school with a draft of my trial brief due and a lot of reading that I didn't do over break but I just need to keep my energy up and go to the gym tonight. In the name of shaking things up I am going to hop on the treadmill and do running and walking.

I don't think I had a one thing yesterday, but I drank all my water, hit the gym (cardio AND weights!), and stayed within my range - so I probably met what it would have been!!

I didn't do my one thing yesterday, so I'm rolling it over to today - go to the gym.

BUT - its GORGEOUS outside, and if the sidewalks are relatively clear and not full of puddles I'll probably walk outside instead.


And I'm cleaning - that counts as buring off cals, right?

today my one thing is going to be not eating a ton of fried crap at my grandmother-in-law's birthday party. i prefer to save my bingeing on cake! woot!

Today's one thing: blow my diet by eating a big buckwheat pancake & syrup for breakfast and then Thai green curry & FRIED wontons for lunch!

I went to the gym yesterday!


Today's one thing will be to go to the gym again tonight. It'll be a bit harder as I forgot my clothes at home - but I'm gonna give it a shot!

One thing: do 3 strength training exercises (should take all of 5 minutes).

Today my one thing is to go to the gym.
I've been good with my water all week and was all set to go to the gym last night but was enticed by a beer at dinner instead.

I have to meet my grandpa at 7 so I NEED to squeeze it in after work.

In an attempt to try to rebuild healthy habits, I've been trying to focus on one thing at a time (exercising, getting enough fiber, staying within my range).

Today my goal is get all 64 oz. of water in before I leave work.

What's your one thing for today?
