when I drink tap water (outside of a heavy workout or sometimes ice water at a restaurant) I use those crystal light singles dealies. 10 calories for 500 ml. Or sometimes the nestea ones which are only 5 calories but have a ridiculous amount of sodium in them. But even then I'm not really a big fan. I wish I could afford to drink 8 cups of fiji water a day. I would gladly do that ;) I like soda water too but again... costly.

Green tea on the other hand. I drink a minimum of 3 cups a day during weekdays. I like the taste, it's easy to make, requires no milk or sugar, and warms me up.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this disliking water thing. A lot of people have said I'm totally insane and that water has no taste but it's like... some people think gummy bears all taste the same too.

i totally count tea and other caffeinated beverages toward my water consumption. caffeine may have a diuretic effect, but i'm still taking in WAY more fluid by drinking a cup of tea than i am by peeing slightly more frequently. also, i don't like drinking straight water, either. i have a 32 oz water bottle that i fill with 4 ounces of unsweetened cranberry juice and then the rest with water. it's a little bitter, but i like bitter. i've used lemon juice, too, for the same effect.

I drink really cold brita filtered water sometimes, but this has been going on since I was a kid. Then I would only drink water out of the bathroom tap in a plastic disposable cup or straight out of the tap because glass cups changed the taste of the water (seriously). Our water came from a well and even the SMELL of my grandparents city water turned my stomach. As I got older our wellwater got bad and we started to order in bottles of spring water... which I would only drink out of a plastic cup.

I can taste and smell the chemicals in the water and it just grosses me out. The other day I took a sip of unfiltered city water to take a pill and I dry heaved. It is that bad. The cheap bottled water (the reverse osmosis crap) is equally disgusting and makes me almost puke. Probably because it's just filtered tap water.

I'm ridiculous, I know, but if city water makes me puke, what can I do?

Yeah, I was thinking about that lack of icon thing! I can make one for us if you guys want.

Are you SURE you hate water? Have you tried drinking it filtered, ice cold, warm, with lemon? There are lots of different ways to go...

I very very very very rarely drink just water. I find the taste revolting except in the case of too-expensive-for-me-to-drink-8-cups-of-it
-a-day bottled water or if I've done a hardcore fencing workout and have sweat out as much as I'm taking in.

I do drink ridiculous amounts of green tea though. Do you think that counts?

It has some caffine in it but not as much as black tea or coffee.

I dunno, maybe that's a stretch but water is so gross and there's only so much crystal light a person can drink.

... unrelated: how come this team has no icon? A crafty team with no icon seems criminal ;)
