no pain is "just" pain. if it hurts you so badly that... well, you made a post about it, I'd RICE it (rest, ice, compression, elevation).

If you have access to a pool you can swim instead of walk or run, and do some upper body weight stuff.

now i'm starting to think that i'm being a wuss and should power through it. how do you know when pain is actually bad or if it's just, you know, pain?

Uh...yeah....my knee hurts too...no gym for me. Darn.


Sometimes when I walk outside my knees hurt from walking on tilted sidewalks - so I have to alter my route so both legs get equal time on the "inward slope" of the sidewalk. Who knew it could be so complicated??

i hurt my knee and now my knee hurts. i just felt like putting some complaining out there, i guess. i don't know what i did because all i've done in the past 2 days exercise-wise is to go for walks in my neighborhood. but now it's so sore that it kept me up last night. i'm going to ice it tonight and hope that it's better tomorrow. but no gym today unless some miracle occurs and it stops hurting by the afternoon.
