I woke up yesterday and realized that I have 2 months until my golf league starts.

We golf at a very hilly course and I'd love to be able to walk through it with out feeling like I'm ready to drop dead. So....starting today I'm going to try to recommit myself to the gym. I just need to walk walk walk walk walk.

I'm not going to worry about food too much for now, I think that'll fall into place. I did just clean out my fridge though so I'm going to make an attempt to only fill it with good healthy stuff.

Cmighty: thanks for making me laugh -- we all need a montage!!

On the recipe boards, someone had a recipe for alfredo using those low-fat (nonfat?) Laughing Cow triangles. Those things are awesome at only 35 calories.

I found a recipe for nacho macaroni and cheese in Bon Appetite this last month and I made that two weekends ago. To not go overboard I halved the recipe and baked two servings in individual gratin dishes that each hold 1 cup. It worked well for me because I had one serving right in front of me (and the serving turned out to be too big, I only ate half) and there just wasn't anymore if I had wanted more.

Maybe try the single serving approach? I have a hard time cutting anything out completely so I am a fan of making something "bad" fit into my diet rather than excising it and then feeling deprived.

none for me. i can't leave the stuff alone. if i bake a pan, i eat that pan within 48 hours, regardless of its size and weight. i will eat the whole thing every time.

o.k., babydolls, my number was up by 1 (though spark is estimating it up at 1.5 on my homepage... THANKS!!), which means that i have to find the eye of the tiger if i'm going to get to 135 by may. i need a training montage fast!

so, the goals:
more fish
more weights
more challenging cardio
fewer glasses of wine
no mac & cheese

it seems reasonable, yes?

Well, I've been doing very poorly the last couple of weeks. Long work days, cold weather and the January Blues set in. BUT I sat down this weekend and mapped out my plan for the next year. I've created weekly goals and a monthly goal, my monthly goals will be revised, well, monthly :)

I'm not giving up. I refuse to.

I just had to write this down to keep myself accountable.
