I'm also back at sparkpeople after a hiatus, and I left mostly because I started gaining weight the first time I was here.

I'm afraid that by trying to lose weight the healthy way, I'll always gain it instead. (I usually lose weight the not-so-healthy way.... :( )

I'm afraid that if I stay where I'm at (or get bigger) I won't allow myself to pursue my non-body related goals.

I'm just now logging back into spark after a month hiatus. I don't have internet at home anymore and work has been somewhat busy.

Nothing to add really, i just wanted to say I'm here and can't wait to get back on track.

i'm afraid that i'm going to fall back into old eating habits and won't be able to get back out.

i'm afraid that i'm never going to get to the weight i need to be at in order to "let" myself study abroad in japan and will never end up going.

i'm afraid that i'm never going to get to where i want to be in general.

I'm afraid that I'll make too many excuses to myself.

I'm afraid that I'll lose interest in the videos, because I'd much prefer to be attending a real class (which is not currently possible).

Hey Glitters, it's Milo!

I seem to write a lot of weight related posts on La Vida, and I figured this is probably a better place for those type of posts.

Here is my background in a nutshell: Was same weight as my peers as a child, hit puberty early, and have been 20-40lbs overweight since. I'm 5'3" and weighed 157 when I decided to join sparkpeople and log my info on fitday. My goal is to weigh 125.

I'm now 144. According to fitday, I average 1300 calories a day. I do the "Spark Your Way To A 5k" program 3x a week, do resistance training for 20-30 mins 3x a week, and do the occasional aerobics or yoga video.

I've hit my first weight loss plateau, and it scares me. I'm scared that I won't get to my goal weight. I'm scared that my goal might be impossible unless I exercise for an hour every day. I'm scared that if I ever do make it to my goal, I won't be able to maintain it. I'm scared that I'll gain weight if I up my calories to above 1300 a day.

What are some of your weight loss/diet/exercise fears?
