I just got the 2nd book and it is amazing! It's called Spark Joy: an illustrated master class on the art of organizing and tidying up.

So it has one section that says never give up or quit even if it takes forever is the message! I needed to hear that so bad because I am a working noncustodial mom and am very busy it seems. I actually have not been able to do anything in regards to Tidying Up in a while. I have a trash bag full of papers by my bed and a box full of papers I want to keep in my living room. Then I have things all over the place. Like I have the organizers for my sock and underwear drawer still out not used.

Anyway it also has drawings on how to fold things and how things look when organized. It recommends finding a picture through a designer magazine of how you want your place to look or a couple of pictures and place them so you can look at them every day.

It recommends taking a photo of the mess before the job is done and after photos.

If you can get the book from the library it is ideal because free, but I bought it for around $14 on Amazon and so worth the purchase. Better than the first book I read which seemed a lot like the show and didn't give me new information than her show.
