I try to be! My orchid from Sweetest Day is still alive and just rebloomed! My rose from Valentine's Day now has a bloom on it! I'm so surprised these have never made to this far in the past.

I want to be and a lot of plants have died for my efforts!

I admire them from a distance. I'm never successful at keeping them alive

I don't consider myself a plant person, but I have managed to keep some houseplants alive for 20 plus years! I am trying to grow some pot herbs in my apt. Happily, my Christmas poinsettia is thriving and growing!

Keep on Sparking!

Yes! For the 10 years before I became so ill, I raised and hybridized orchids of all types. I even did all my own flasking, incubating, etc. I had to get rid of them when I got too ill to tend them. Now I have a few plants but not many. I do raise all my own herb plants from seed as I still have my grow light stands, etc. My greenhouse is still here, but I'm not back to where I can physically handle that large an area so just use my indoor lighted stands.

No, I always manage to kill them even the ferns relatives say it's impossible to kill them. I can do marigolds and petunias and tomatoes outside in summer, even a cucumber plant once

at one point I was very much into plants and loved them . had a green thumb. then we got new windows and they did not have marble sills and my husband made me get rid of them. ruin his wood and they had to go to avoid that at all costs. so slowly but slowly I have been edged out of what I loved my home. now it is just a spot that I sleep in and watch tv . not really live here anymore.
