I do try and keep close to the Paleo way of eating, it suits me. I do stray more often now and I know I have to get my act together. I am gluten intolerant and need to get serious again.

Diets. . Oh I tried so many in the past. I did lose quite a lot on WW. But now I try to eat healthy generally. I know my portions are smaller. I am more aware if what I eat.
I don’t worry over losing pounds but getting healthier

In my adulthood, I have been on so many different diets, some crazy, some sane and some just stupid.

It finally stopped this last year, went back to WW where I am a life timer. It has worked and clicked in and I now have a better healthy quality of life

Every day I am on the verge of making slight changes that would make all the difference in my life.

I sure have tried different programs. Weight Watchers several times with some success but it is rather costly for me. Tops...it was difficult to get to meetings after work. Years ago I remember buying a box of something I think it was called Ayds. It was either chocolate or caramel. You ate it after a hot drink. It was pretty tasty but not a successful diet plan.

I tried an every other day fasting group on SP, could lose well on it but it upset my tummy to take in such low calories every other day! Also belonged to TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) for several years, lost weight then put it all back on.

Definitely my microwave. Use it for thawing frozen foods, warming up cold coffee, heating up cold foods from the fridge and it is great for making scrambled eggs and one serving muffins in a cup. Probably use it to much!

After a few hours of not being able to get to sleep. I get up & get a peanut butter sandwich & read. Then try again to get to sleep. I have some lotion that is soothing & I rub that on my arms & neck. I think it might be lavendar. I try not to get on computer because the lights will not help me get sleepy.

I won't get out of bed unless it is passed 5:00 o'clock a.m. Why? Because I will be too tired all the rest of the day. and will have to take a nap during the day and I usually don't nap at all.
So it ruins my whole sleep cycle. I usually will fall back to sleep eventually.

Actually, I live in the most favorite part of the world for me. I have traveled extensively, and am rapidly reaching the point of not wanting to travel anymore. There are two places that could entice me, though. One is Dracula's Castle in Romania, and the other is to Myanmar, which used to be known as Burma. I think both would be fascinating.
