I have had a bad month so far.

We had to put my baby (our 14-year-old dog) down.

She had stage 4 kidney failure and it finally caught up to her. She went from no symptoms to full-on failure.

She was fine on Friday. Saturday, she couldn't get up much so we carried her outside. Sunday, the same but she was eating a little. She had some diarrhea but nothing too bad.

Monday, March 2nd was bad. She could barely lift her head. I called hubby at work and I was pretty hysterical. He came home and made all the arrangements. We wanted her to die at home and he found a place that sends a vet to the house. Our normal vet was out of state.

It went nicely. I haven't been involved in much since and I am pretty miserable. I am still on plan for my eating and working out. Just a lot of tears.

Today, hubby had to travel for work so it is all hitting me hard to be alone with the rest of the pets.

It is amazing how quite a house can be.

Then there is the isolation factor that everyone is going through. We kept hoping that the Navy would change their mind on his mission and they did this morning. Then they said to have him come after all. ARGH. At least it is here in the states.

Oh, then someone did something to break a main water pipe just up the road.

This is a place to visit and get to know each other!

Use an UpWalker when walking outside as I am very unsteady.
