Carol, Sydney was so small all the newborn stuff was too big. We had to find a few preemie outfits and we had to find tiny preemie diapers. Also, the baby seat we had was ridiculously big for her the day we took her home. By three months, she was over 12 pounds. At one year, she weighed 30 pounds and the doctor told us to get her off formula and onto skim milk. :) She stayed the same weight until she turned 3. Healthy babies! That's the goal!!

Morning all,

I worked out today! I learned I need a real maternity sports bra lol but otherwise all was good. Yesterday was pretty lazy (brunch followed by lots of reading).

Today, I'm hoping to be a bit more productive. Ideally: run some errands, clean out some closets, help Mike disassemble our desks.

Tomorrow I have the day off (YAY!) so I'm planning to do laundry and read most of the day :D.

xoxo

Lol I worked until two weeks overdue with my first, stayed home for a day and went back until I went into labor. With my second, they induced me two days past my due date.

So Heather you bake them fast and I do it very slowly!

Jay was so big that he didn't fit the newborn clothes I brought. The nurses found something for him to wear.

I keep warning my co-workers that my chances of going into labor go from possible to probable at 36 weeks, which is Monday. Lol

I'm going out two weeks before my due date, hoping I make it! 8 work days left....

I had it all planned out......work through a Friday, then like a week until my due date....thought I'd have a day or so to get things organized......then the kid came so early!!! Oh well, that's life. Healthy baby, healthy mama, that's the goal!!

Have a great weekend everyone. :)

Hi guys,

Rest up while you can Kourtney! I've gotten tired more easily for a while lol

I've only got about two weeks left before I go out on leave at work. I'm hoping I get a chance to kind of rest up before laboring, but at this point it all depends on when nugget decides to make his debut.

I did get a swim the other day which was excellent, hopefully I'll get a few more in yet :)

Carol, my baby was just like Cassie.....with the exception of self potty training early!!!

We don't get Veteran's Day as a holiday, which is just as well because I don't get paid if I don't work!! Enjoy the long weekend and rest up Kourtney!!

Yawn hi all. Yesterday was long (lack of sleep + training all day + a team dinner that put me home late). Today is long too (day trip to GA for work, just landed).

I’m leaving work early tomorrow because of how hectic these 2 days have been. And I have Monday off (Veterans Day). So I’m just counting the hours til tomorrow afternoon.

xoxo

LOL...or you could have an experience like my first baby! Jacob slept through the night at six weeks and forever after that haha. Of course...he was a hair light of ten pounds too! Casie was a completely different monster emoticon ...she woke up every two hours and wanted to nurse for half an hour and (finally) slept through the night when she was just about a year old. Then she potty-trained herself and had to get up two or three times a night for the six months...

What's weird is that I never felt better than when I had the strange sleep cycle because of her! I felt super alive and happy.

My last post didn't show up! Oh well...

From the mama who gave birth 5 weeks early, I'm telling you to rest........take it easy......I'm not saying I wouldn't have gone so early if I had been less worried about doing my job, but from this perspective 16 years later.......take care of yourself. You and the baby need rest. :)

Kourtney, I'm gonna say what every other mom here and anywhere else will tell you......sleep now! Get rest......you need it!! Also, very soon you won't remember what a full night of sleep is......at least for a while.

*yawn* hi everyone.

I stayed up way too late watching election results come in. I definitely feel better today than I did 2 years ago. Not perfect, but I’ll take it.

I am on a very early train because mike had a 6a meeting. Thankfully there’s a coffee shop open at 630 near my work. But boy am I tired.

Too tired to report much else. xoxo

Hi Everyone,

Been really busy during October with multiple trips. Tomorrow I work at the polls and this afternoon we have a meeting to go over the setup etc. Thought this would be a good thing to try now that I don't have to be in an office.

Stroke clinic has now started back up and coach told me I got really lazy legs so back into fins for a bit which reminded me to keep kicking the entire time. This clinic is twice a week so I get in an extra two hours of exercise. Need to build up my endurance. I tire out too soon.

Hubby & I spent Halloween night at my daughter's as our grandson was celebrating his first Halloween dress up as the Red Baron pilot. She bought him a blow up airplane too. It was fun to see all the little kids come for candy. I made a pot of chilli so after the bulk of the tricksters had come and gone we had something to warm your bones. We planned Thanksgiving while we were there. The girls don't cook so they weren't sure about having everyone to their house. I told them it was time they learned and I'd help them. So we roughed out a menu and picked a time. So at least we have a plan and the rest of the family will be invited and they can do appetizers, drinks, veggies. One makes really good pecan pie so they'll ask her to make the pie. I have a cheesecake from Juniors for a second dessert.

Have to get on to a meeting so that's all for now. Will try to catch up with all your recent doings. Hope all are enjoying the Fall.

Hi!! Happy Monday!! It was a crazy commute in today....I was almost to the bus stop when I realized I didn't have my wallet in my purse. Ugh. Added almost an hour to my commute by having to go home and get it. Hubby met me part way, but only really saved me about 10 minutes. And it's raining! So, at least I made it to the office.

I'll come back later with more chat, just want to get this posted!!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!
