Heather - Good luck today! An hour closer is way better and hopefully, you'll get with a company (finally) that's normal.

Talk about crazy companies! Since I've been working with companies that need to be straightened out and have software implemented, I've been dealing with psycho companies. I decided I was done, at least for now. So I am now officially retired! Though I have someone that has already asked me if I would do some work for them...

Lynn - Yay for racing and WW. I have my bike set up, but with the house torn up, I haven't been using it.

Jen - Yay for spinning, that's what I've been doing when I can get to my bike.

We should finish the floors this weekend, so the end is in sight. It's been great to wake up in the morning and work on the house. All day physical labor is a lot of fun right now. Today I plan to paint the dining room and prep the bathroom. Then we're going to go to a winery for a tasting. I'm liking the retired life.

HEATHER....Best wishes on your interview this Friday!!! Hope it all works out. Also, kudos for living the healthy life. I had been back to Weight Watchers since mid December as I got a great discount sent to me as a former member for their new program so I took it. Lost 10 lbs so far and that was with a few ups and downs. WW did a study thinking Dec was the worst month to lose only to find Jan tied with Feb as the hardest months. So here it is, March....no excuses. :D

BROWNME....Glad you are back in the swing (or should I say "swim") of things. I need to as well, but having just had braces put on my teeth, I'm not feeling it....All I'm feeling is discomfort. I've come a long way and starting to get used to it, but the thought of swimming was SO far from appealing. I hope to make a couple of dips before our faction in a week and a half....

JAHIN...WTG with the spinning and all....

I have an 11 miler to do run/walk/run style SLOW this weekend....Always adventurous to do it... April 22nd is the "race", though I'm not really racing. LOL....

Time for some breakfast....Have a good day all.

Hi folks!

Heather, welcome back from your whirlwind!

I went to spin class again last night and will get a short walk on my lunch today. Randy came down with a mean head cold and I think I feel it coming on to me now too... We'll see how the rest of the week goes on

I'm glad for a sunny day before the rain starts up again... The weather has been oppressively gray and damp lately. Doing ok with my mood though. I joked with my therapist that I'm amazed to think this is how most people feel in the winter lol.

Hi everyone!! I had a whirlwind week last week so I never even made it here to post anything. Glad to see you all moving right along in your active lives!!!

This week is a short one for me because I have Friday off for an interview. This position just dropped into my lap and it's a great one. A recruiter who I worked with a little bit the last time I was looking reached out to see if I was interested in a position he's trying to fill. It's with a very solid company and it's an hour closer to my home. A former HR colleague of mine used to work at this place, and she would go on and on about how nice it is. She just recently left for a promotion elsewhere, but she still has very nice things to say about it!! So, I can't pass up the opportunity to check it out. The two phone interviews I had went really well.....I'm very excited!!

I've been maintaining with my exercise and eating and although I haven't lost any weight recently, I'm feeling pretty positive. I usually have trouble taking any weight off in the winter. I'm pretty much just happy to maintain. I've let some of those pounds I lost two years ago creep back, so I'm trying to be aware and get back on it immediately!! So far, so good!!

I hope you all had a great weekend relaxing or working on your homes, or doing whatever you do to be happy!!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day and week!!
