Sore quads are stronger quads! I'm feeling that this week. I opted for spin class on Monday night and am still feeling the soreness in my quads.

No yoga yesterday morning, but I did a short sequence this morning. Felt good to get my legs moving.

Carol, I bet those floors will look lovely! I love that you guys are so active with your home renos. We may rent out our little house when we move out of it eventually, dip our toes into property management and see if we like it.

Haha...yeah, I'd have a hard time giving up blueberries! But getting your teeth straightened is a great thing to do - at any age! I'm so glad to hear that hubby is okay. Sore quads do mean stronger quads. I'm struggling with the debate to retire... This job is less than perfect, the work is super fun, but the HR is psycho. I just can't decide!

Jen - Sounds like a great routine. I am trying to get in a routine of stretching and riding my "mounted" bike each morning...but I'm failing pretty miserably. We have our house torn up because we're sanding down all of our floors.

Man, sanding all of the floors makes such a huge mess, but it's a good work out and the floors are turning out very nicely. Well, except I'm not happy with the dining room haha. It has some dark stains that go deeper than we want to sand so I guess we're going to go with a darker than wished for coloring.

Nice routine set up, Jen...Best wishes. I'm trying to get going on the Hasfit videos but have yet to start with these "life interruptions!" Hubby doing fine...he's home now and is wearing a heart monitor for the next three weeks. They didn't find too much other than those PVCs and a borderline low level of potassium, which really, was in the normal range...but they like to see it a little higher.

Did a LONG run Sunday and still have slightly sore quads. Just knowing that they get stronger in the healing process makes it all worth it.

Getting the dental braces on today....yes...at age 62! They are just for straightening so don't need as long as normal braces. He suspects mine will be on for about 5 months. They are clear, so I have to watch extra what I eat so as not to stain them......Having my last blueberries this AM! Have to watch out for other things as well..... Should be worth it...may be a long 5 months. Ha, ha....

Hi folks!

More birds singing and highs approaching 70 for us this week! It's damp though, and too chilly and misty for a walk today. So I'm lunching in my car lol

Better cautious on the cardio front, I'm hoping your husband checks out ok and it's something mild!

I'm attempting a new routine, I bought a second yoga mat to keep at home (usually mine lives in my car). I want to do short yoga sessions in the morning as part of my routine. Just 10-15 minutes of sun salutations, moon flowers, and cat-cow stretches to get moving before I sit in a cube for the day.

I'll hit up the y after work tonight, still undecided if I'll do spin or swim.

Here's to a good week!
