Yeah, it's funny about this team and time. I think about going through grad school and boys with Maureen and always teasing her that she just needed to meet a nice boy like my son...and now here they have already celebrated their first anniversary!

Life with Spark has been great even if we are the last of the group! It's nice to have a group that is separate from everything else.

Wow once a year? I thought our dance studio was tight with once a month haha.

Yeah walking to work instead of sitting in traffic does sound pretty fantastic. I do understand only too well what it means to miss getting out early enough to and hitting horrible traffic. The Bay area traffic here totally sucks! From Half Moon Bay to our house in Prunedale should take an hour and a half...but will often take 2.5 hours.

Speaking of that, tomorrow will be my last time to have to make that weekly commute! Until we close on the new house I will have a 50 minute commute to the new job, but it's a straight shot through the valley and won't be too bad. I'll be glad when we close the escrow on the house and I can walk, that's for sure. Living on the property here four days a week where the walk is just down the hill has been really nice...but not living with my husband for those three nights a week has sucked.

How is your baby boy 30 already!? I think I remember him being like 21. Wow, we've been doing this a loooong time here on Swimming for Cardio!!!

Visiting is allowed once a year. They used to do it twice a year, in Oct and Feb, but that changed a few years ago. I know some studios actually have windows or viewing areas where you can watch more regularly, but our studio isn't like that. I used to love visiting when she only danced in the recital and so I only got to see her dance once a year. But now she performs so much that it's not quite as exciting. It's still nice to see her do so well in class.

The new job and home arrangement sounds awesome Carol.

Walk to work!!!??? That sounds amazing!!!

I left late today because I was out late last night seeing So You Think You Can Dance Live, and so I slept in until 6 but that means I was late leaving the house and sat in two hours of traffic getting to work. Ugh. That's why I try to get up and out early!!!

I'm having a little trouble getting going this morning, so maybe I'll have a little more coffee!!

Have a great day everyone.

It is amazing how quickly they grow, isn't it? Casie and her work friend are putting on their first yoga retreat this weekend and it's pretty amazing that they are jumping off that cliff. Starting your first business is a huge change! As you well know picking up new clients is a lot of work. My baby boy turns 30 this year...how did that happen?!

This past weekend was very active for me doing lots of heavy lifting to pack the house up (again)! We are in a 30 day escrow so everything has to be done fast, fast, fast. It will be nice to move to a house so close to work. Once I get situated I'll walk to and from work every day and add to my miles! Plus, once we get the pool sorted I'll be back to swimming every day!

How often does her studio allow dance visits? Casie's was always once at the beginning of the month.

Carol, there's been so much change for you, it's been hard to keep up!! I've had so much change in the last three years it's been hard for me to keep up with myself, but it's all looking up at the moment, so that's nice!

I hit the ground running today and am just getting a moment to check in here. I had a great and really active weekend. Today I'm swamped with work, and that's a nice thing. I feel like I'm finally starting to contribute meaningfully here and I like the job.

Tonight I have a riding lesson and then I go to dance visiting night at the dance school. Time flies.....I can't quite believe how grown up my baby is getting.

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning fishies! This is my last week at this job and we are in escrow on a house with a pool!!! It's too short to do laps in, but either I will build a harness system or I'll get one of the wall mount endless pool systems.

There has been so much change in my life these past two years, I'm looking forward to it all settling down!
