Okay, let's post a couple more times daily and talk about the weekly thread and then switch over.

Bugger... I typed a bunch and lost my post...

Maybe weekly chats are good? More time to converse.

And I've got a new tracking wearable coming to me that should report some good stroke metrics in the pool... We shall see

So... I've been lurking a lot and reading all the daily chat threads, but not responding much. Part of that is that I no longer have a computer at home, so I'm on my phone and I hate posting from my phone. And another part is that I wonder if anyone is going to see it...

I agree that we have not had the response that we used to have on these daily chat threads. I'm not sure why... people are busy? threads too hard to find? we aren't keeping people interested? I don't know.... could be any number of things.

I also agree that the daily threads are hard to find on the start page. I rarely use my start page because I get email notifications every time a new thread is started, and I click into it from there. So today I went to my start page to see what Heather was talking about, and I see that Spark changed the format YET AGAIN. I have always been vocal about how much I dislike most of the changes they make because I don't find them user friendly

That all said, maybe we do need to change things up here. We are an old team, used to "our way of doing things" and maybe it just doesn't work anymore. To be honest, I think Spark as a weight loss tool has run its course for me. I don't use any of the trackers or other tools anymore, and haven't for months and months. The only thing really that keeps me here is this team.

I give Heather and Carol every credit for keeping the daily chat going as long as they have. One of them is here to start it almost every day. For that I thank you both. But if it isn't getting any response....

I vote for trying a weekly chat thread instead of a daily. That will give people more time to read and respond. I think the problem with posting only challenges and workouts is that no one does it. If we don't do SOME kind of "keep in touch chat" thread, I'm afraid the team will just completely dry up.

Just my thoughts....

Good Morning!!! I am finally getting my spark back! I feel much more positive about my life these days. Maybe the winter really was more of a grind than I thought it was this year.

Carol and I have been discussing a little bit that maybe the daily thread has run it's course, especially now since it's really hard to find the team posts on the start page. I'm looking for a little input to see if anyone wants to continue the daily threads. Maybe instead we do a weekly chat thread just to keep in touch. Or maybe we just stop the chat threads and only post up challenges, workouts, etc.

Share your thoughts (that is, if you even see this post!). LOL

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!
