Goriana - I'm so very proud of you! You've come so far to overcome the fear of the water and now to be taking an instructor class? Go you!

congratulations on your trip to Paris, Heather. vacations are great!

I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago and I'm still 'off'. I finally have some time to catchup and I just realized that I haven't swam since vacation. Today will be the day to get back in the pool. I am taking a water instructor class this semester....it looks like fun.

Last week my stomach was off so I didn't swim but I did go to class and it was odd to watch some of the students that just were not prepared...lots of cramps...from 'heavy' snacks...one guy had no googles and a full long mane...it was something to watch and I felt like experience is finally paying off...i would never show up for a swim with a full dinner in me...or without goggles....or without hair ties.......I feel so happy and proud that I learned how to swim in 2011 and now I might help others too.....there is a volunteer program that helps swimmers with cognitive challenges and I'm looking forward to checking it out...once I have some other things settled....

The Missus has kept me solvent for many years but I sneak in an extravaganza once in a while so go enjoy Paris without guilt!

Nice to "see" you Jen. How was lunch? Any shows coming up?

Productive manual labor is better than workouts just for a calorie burn. Go gettem!

The week from H*ll is over, I deliberately brought nothing home. Yeah, I'll end up peeking online here and there to keep the surprises on Monday to a minimum. Temp in the crick on the traditional 03/01 kickoff was 48. I have a ways to go to get in. (sigh) I way bumped up my mileage in the Challenge as I had thoughts of access to a pool. Didn't happen so I'll have to back that off. Grrr...

Haha - lunch break? It's only 10 am here!

Yes, yay Friday!

I can't wait to get out of here and on the road to the Santa Maria house! We should be able to finish the kitchen and two bathrooms this weekend. That will leave one more bathroom and the outside of the house! We are trying to rent it out by April 1. We also have a window we need to replace but we have to get a permit for that and the fence around the pool. We want to wait until everything else is done...so it may be May1, but it's getting there! Work outs will be manual labor.

Good Morning!!! It's Friday!! Also, my trip to Paris is booked. I'm very excited. I really am cheap and so spending all this money is killing me, but I need something to look forward to, and a trip with the family is gonna be awesome!!!

Went back to dance class last night, and was completely lost. They did a lot of choreography while I was out the last few months, so I have a lot to catch up on. It'll be OK, it's not that complex, but it still threw me off a bit. But the exercise was fun!!!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!
