Well, there's nothing else in there at the moment as we stripped it bare...including half of the walls. We found this tile that looks a lot like birch and so the mid tone brown is the same color as the shower...makes it even more manly...but what are you going to do with a brown-on-brown shower? I'm going to do the walls in a beige-white and then stipple a design in lighter range color and then put a wide full-length mirror that has a dark brown, wood border and a large matching one for over the sink. I may stipple random circles with a paste to give it dimension and tone down the manliness...I have to try it. I squeegee too, it makes it a lot easier. We don't have a cleaning lady anymore, so anything to keep from cleaning more...

I'm sure your star will show up! Winterizing a car? Wow, there's something I've never had to know anything about - haha. Yay for sunny California! Well...actually we're not very sunny today. It rained, then fogged, then became sunny, but now it's fogging up again.

Yup sounds like a manly shower, Carol. What are the rest of the colors in there? My AM bathroom (as far away from the sleeping Missus as possible) in in greys and women have commented on the many; decor. Yile always seemed like work to keep clean. My AM and the master bath have fiberglass . Not sexy but easy to clean. Particularly as I use a squeegee on the shower walls every time after a shower. Keeps the deep clean down to a couple of months rather than a couple of weeks.

A train ride and your Pop as Santa! Sounds like a really fun day Jen.

Got a good 90 minute stationary bike in this AM. Prepped the cars for winter, check fluids, tire pressure, new wipers and some gas line cleaner. Worked on the tree. Horrors - can't find the star for the top! Buzz killer there.

Hi folks :)

Busy day yesterday, rode the Wilmington Western railroad with family in the morning ( my dad is their Santa Claus) and had our Christmas/birthday party last night. So it was a long afternoon of food prep and a good long party! Being lazy and cleaning up today...

Anyone around this weekend? We have rain again today! California really needs some rain, so this is great!

We are going to tile the back bathroom and that means that all three bathrooms will have their tiles! We are really moving on getting the house done now that we have an earlier move in date for our (final) house. The bathroom we're working on has a shower that I don't really like, but it's fully tiled (brown and dark brown grout)...it looks like a manly shower. So we got tile that looks like wood to go with it. Not perfect, but it's going to be a rental and I won't have to live with it.

What are you guys up to today?
