And so, during my blah time, I had someone really snap at me over nothing. I recovered and talked her down from her snit, then went into my office and cried. Yikes. THEN a half hour later I had to meet with my boss and right in front of him I started to tear up. I felt like an idiot. Seasonal crap......turning 50.......so many changes in my life........tough week here, and I'm glad it's the weekend next.

Nah, you're still a kid. Professionally in the prime of your life with such a great and loving family. You're right about watching the seasonal depression though.

You got that right, Jen! Healthy eating and exercise does wonders no matter the season. Cold and rainy here as well. Blech.

Everything in crates tomorrow for the Chicago show, thank god. I'll be buying breakfast for the office on Monday (couldn't afford it for the factory). Not to rub noses in it but I work with a really great bunch of people on both sides of the wall.

Hi folks :)

Heather, I definitely feel the seasonal thing. Focusing on regular exercise and good healthy foods helps a lot. Also, I saw something a while ago that said (I'm paraphrasing) that nothing in nature blooms year round, why should you? It was a curious frame of reference that stuck with me, I'm very active socially in the summer with sca events and concerts and such. There's nothing wrong with being a little quieter for a few months during the worst of the cold season.

Although I may have to find a better lunch spot, I don't like listening to other people eat lol! It's cold and rainy outside so no lunch walk today.

Good Morning!!! I got a new 24" monitor at work and I feel like for the first time since I started here I can actually see my screen!! LOL

Seems like a few of us are struggling with some work stress and feeling overwhelmed. I think for some of us it's seasonal. We seem to be a bunch of people who really like the warmth and sunshine. As we move into the darker colder season let's try to be aware of the triggers for sluggishness and do what we can to see the issues and adjust our lives to make them more manageable. For me, I have to concentrate on continuing to exercise. It definitely helps with my outlook.

I'm have an added stress this week of turning 50 this weekend. It's bothering me a little more than I had hoped it would. However, I'm focusing as much as I can on being grateful for all the positive things in my life. Everyone in my life at this time is healthy, I have a job, my kid is doing great in school and her life, my hubby's business is doing better, and my animals are healthy. These are all positives that I'm gonna hold onto when I start to feel blah about life!!

Hang in there gang!! It's almost the weekend and we should all try to do one thing this weekend that is relaxing and positive!!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!
