Treadmill date was good, determined pace, sore legs, good metal to sweat it all out, and a few minutes in the sauna to ease the tightest joints to boot.

And yes, work dreams make it feel like I never had a break, this time it was almost like there had been no weekend

Hi gang!

Yay on the horse ride Heather! When I did some consulting a company had a weekly meeting earlier than the normal start. 7 AM on a Monday. Not nice after a 160 mile drive the night before.

"what's the point of being good if I don't get any reward?" How about, if the med didn't let you loose, the consider the alternative of a gain for not doing it. You were stuck in a very hard plateau, here's to the next med phasing in in all areas.

Uh, work dreams. I have them on occasion and go in the next day REALLY feeling like I never left. GL with that treadmill date.

We're in the same time zone, Kourtney. It's all over.

A good day at work, things in my arena under control and with CS understaffed I was answering phones with a lot of "Who are you?" coming at me. Just another know nothing dufus thank you, how can I help? The usual indoor workout this AM.

Hi folks :)

Taking a desk lunch much to my own chagrin, I try to avoid doing that, because I think I'm a bit burnt out and just don't feel like going anywhere. I haven't been sleeping well lately and had work dreams even through the weekend. Ooof!

It seems like the worst of the rush for this client has passed though, so I should be able to leave on time today and head to the y to work it out a bit on the treadmill.

I'm also hoping that having this experience of how the current handling of the rush period goes so I can advocate for changes. Carol, perhaps I should take you up on your offer to help research :) if you have time in your own flurry of endeavors

Morning all.

To be honest, I've been slacking lately. I've only been hitting about 70% of my workouts and have been REALLY bad when it comes to eating well and tracking food. I got frustrated b/c the med I'm on (and coming off of) stops me from losing weight and felt somewhere along the line of "what's the point of being good if I don't get any reward?"

I've also been anxious lately. Apparently it's a side effect of my new med that people often get
initially and it fades a few weeks in. So here's to hoping it goes the eff away.

But I'm back at it today. B/c even if I can't lose weight, I should focus on being healthier all around. It makes me feel better physically and mentally and will stop me from gaining weight at least. So now I've got a new tracking blog up for this week www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu

.

I have a looming work deadline that feels very out of my control, so perhaps having food and exercise in my control will help it all feel better.

Hope everyone else's Monday goes well. xoxo

Good Morning!!! The day is off to a reasonably good start for a Monday. It's definitely beautiful out there today!

We used to have a manager's meeting every Monday from 5 - 6. That sure was one way to start off your week in a kinda frustrating way. It was ridiculous timing in everyone's opinion except the boss. So, thankfully it has been moved to Thursday at 4! Yay!! It makes Monday better knowing that you don't have a less than exciting meeting to attend at 5 pm.

I rode the horse yesterday!!! I am very sore today but it is worth it because I had a great ride. I felt so strong and capable. This walking every day has really paid off!!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!
