Haha..."snow" and "nice" in the same sentence....nooooo

Laurie, it is undoubtedly cheaper to live in the south......and the winters are nicer. :) Unless you love snow, then of course they aren't nicer.

sell all your stuff, move to something smaller and get a less stressful job

Yup, that's the track I was on, then I decided to go to law school. Silly me. But I'm still looking in that direction. Since I refuse to go work for a firm with a big salary, I'm trying to learn how to live with less, and that will definitely include downsizing in the next few years.

I am also actually considering moving to SC, which is a first for me. I have always believed I would stay in Ohio for the rest of my life. But my brothers are already out of town, my sister may end up leaving at some point, so the only thing holding me there is my mom. Well, she's 98 and certainly won't live forever, so why not move and be closer to my grandbaby? The biggest issue will be getting licensed in SC, which is a royal PITA. But it's good food for thought.

The "sell all your stuff, move to something smaller and get a less stressful job" is exactly what we're doing! I have free company housing on site so it's a four-minute walking commute. I don't have payroll, HR, safety or food safety under me. I also don't have IT...but that's actually an irritant because this company doesn't understand IT. Our management is pretty messed up at the top, but I am working at not caring. There's a group of us that are really good and we've banded together to run the company in spite of the "other" people. We're gaining traction.

The old guard don't have anything to do with the computer system and yet, we are going fully computerized from one end to the other...think they'll be left behind? I certainly hope so.

It's definitely a beach walk day at lunch time!

Good Morning!! I hope everyone is doing great! We have a beautiful summer like day today in mid-October and I LOVE it!!

I am back on track with the exercise. And I'm starting to test the waters for another job. I'm just not sure this is going to work out. In the meantime, I continue to do my best to get a handle on this company and the work here.

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!
