Any time!

An apple or berries with a handful of nuts is my go to snack.

Hi gang!

Welcome to the early risers Heather. Other than soccer I've never been able to PM exercise and that was because it was fun.

Be done with today Kourtney and get back to it tomorrow. You know it's a process of physical and mental highs and lows with plateaus thrown into the mix. You're doing great, results will come. I guess I could say the same with our work lives as well.

The only thing worse than bad software is no software at all, Carol. Our MRP leaves a lot to be desired. The attempt at Crystal is laughable but I'd really hate to try slice 'n dice though something else. Congrats on the 100 days! That's an accomplishment. I can't count the months I've missed by one day or two. Consistency trophy, bah. I want Perfect Attendance. I took French in HS and college. Living in the US I haven't had to mumble anything more than a Bonjour on rare occasions. Oddly, I can now read it better than speak it.

Mushroom stuffed squash? I'll be right over. How clothes fit is the ultimate judge of how you're doing, Jen, so stay with what works for you. As my weight came off I really enjoyed "shopping" further back in my closet.

I need a good pick-me-up snack for about 3:00. I've been dragging late at work lately. Any suggestions?

Despondent isn't good Kourtney. Is feeling that way a possible side effect of medications you may be on? Be kind to yourself......you are an awesome person and deserve to be good to yourself.

Carol, Sydney and I discussed essentially the same thing about the President. She's way ahead if she wants to run for something else later because she will have had the experience. She's also going to learn some leadership skills, and I'm so happy for her for that. She's a natural leader but she's going to have to learn to delegate....a good skill to learn early!!

Hi folks :)

I ended up making mushroom soup from scratch last night instead of walking... I'll use it to make some stuffed acorn squash with quinoa for dinner tonight!

I'm finally getting some of my own work here at this less than new job, it's making my brain feel like it's melting. Going from boredom to challenge is always rough for me, but I'm pretty sure that I'll adjust and enjoy the challenge soon enough.

Jon, weighing often is good for mapping variations like that, but the constant check messes with my head a little. I think weekly or monthly works better for me, but my scale battery died so it's been keeping an eye on how my (fitted 50s style non stretch) dresses zip lol

I hit my 100 day in a row of logging into Spark!

Go Heather! Congrats to Sydney, that's awesome. Others may not care in their freshman year, but now she has an in for what lays ahead. Wow, freshman, how did she get so old?

Jon - Every day you weigh? You should talk with my son, he's working on learning French. He went to Tahiti and now he wants to move there - lol.

Kourtney - Oh that side effect sucks! When I went through menopause I had that issue and my doc gave me a different diet to try and that helped. IDK maybe try changing it up? He had me do no dairy, no soy, nothing with phytos. Organic everything and no breads. I hope you get more fun projects at work! I wish I could share some of mine...I've got too many to handle lol.

Speaking of which, I'm working on an analysis of our costs and our data collection software sucks!

I'm feeling despondent.

I feel blocked at work, am not learning, and need new things thrown my way. I mean that's why we hired someone to get QA off my plate - so that I could do new and different things. So I've asked for more things and... it's just more of the same. Unfortunately I only saw a part of the message last night, so I thought I was actually getting something interesting and got excited. But nope, I'm not. And now I'm just more disappointed.

Also, despite eating well and working out consistently, I'm not seeing the weight loss I'd expect. Given the weight I am at (which is high from my healthy weight), you'd think the weight wouldn't be so hard to get off. But I just looked into med side effects and found that weight gain is a common one from my new med (due to it changing hormones and the way your body stores calories). Sigh.

I just feel done with today and want to go home.

Good Morning!!! Happy Tuesday.

I'm taking Sydney to a dental appointment this morning then going to work, so I decided to take the time and work out early so it's done and I'm not working out super late tonight! Yay me!! And I'm about to go have my healthy breakfast as I promised myself I would do.

Hope everyone is doing great!!!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!
