Carol - do you remember awhile back when I couldn't do the HM I had trained for b/c of an SI Joint injury? Well I p1ssed off the old injury it seems. My biggest concern is that I'm not certain what pain meds I can take on my new med (can't take NSAIDs on it). Sigh.

Heather...I understand what you're saying about the work thing. Do you have strong lieutenants working for you? One of the hardest things about bigger positions is learning to delegate almost everything. I'm not sure exactly what you're new job is, but when I first started as a CFO I had to learn that I couldn't have any weekly tasks on my desk. That was a hard lesson to learn until I figured out that if I hired and trained awesome people that it was much easier to get everything done, but it couldn't be me doing it. If you want to talk offline, just let me know, I'll be your cheerleader!

WOO HOO Kourtney! That is awesome! What's up with your lower back?

Jon - I used to do a hundred push ups 2-3 days a week but my bad shoulder started getting pissed off so I switched to planks. Now I just have to up my time again, but it's so frustrating when you start back to it!

Did my yoga routine this morning before my walk! Hold me to it people. You guys know me, once I get the routine down I can do it for years. Now that my general pain is back to being manageable and my broken toe is healing I know I can get back to where I was.

“Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!”

The scale is down this morning!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I'm doing pretty well today. Ate well yesterday and going to eat well today too. I really want to get below 195 by the end of the month and am feeling motivated to do so. Was really, really glad to see the scale down a bit today.

No workouts today but lots of drinking water and eating well. Excited to swim tomorrow. Also gonna see my doc tomorrow for my lower back, so hopefully that will feel better soon.

xoxo

Good Morning!! I hope everyone is doing great!!

I'm still trying to figure out this new job. It's a challenge!!! I'm not sure I'm up for such a large challenge though. Maybe this mid-life thing is getting to me. I'll have to keep evaluating over the next few months. For now, I surely need the income. :)

Tonight I start exercising again! I've really missed it and I'm happy to have my health back.

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!
