Haha...well, you are not an engineer. They are very hard headed, introverted and tend to believe that if you ignore emotions they will go away. He's the perfect match for me because I need someone super strong, but it definitely has challenges...I'm sure I'm just as challenging haha

BF% for me although the last few days are in the wrong direction with a few celebrations. I'm glad you're feeling better!

BF% moves so slowly I only measure 4-6 weeks. I don't need a goodie either, fitness is its' own reward. I've always done the first two, never (thankfully) gotten to the third. The adage "Never go to bed mad" has always dovetailed with the old Grayson Hugh tune "Can We Talk It Over In Bed". A really good R&B tune if you're not familiar...

Haha...well our group is pretty full of the independent types. Maybe we could do a daily check in and say either, "on plan!" or, "missed plan" and why.. Then maybe once a week, say Monday, we say how much weight we lost for the prior week, if weight loss is the goal. That way everyone can have their own plan, whether it be increased exercise, body tone, fat %, nutritional or weight loss. What do you guys think? I don't need a goodie at the end because getting this excess off is all the reward I need!

I am committing to a minimum of 45 minutes cardio walking (a good bit of it on soft sand), low calorie range and planks every day.

Jon, I'm with Helen haha, before Tom and I got married we were having one of those pre-marriage discussions where he asked what would make me happy and I told him flowers for reasons or no reason, a kiss before you leave every time and if we stop communicating for three days out of frustration that we go away that weekend.

Him being an engineer, it's easiest to just be super clear. But, almost 40 years later, I still get those things...except for the lack of communication which disappeared around that seventh year. My hubby maybe an engineer, but he is no dummy!

Jen - Join the new challenge and tell yourself it will make everything better!

Kourtney, that really sucks, I'm sorry for you. i never thought about how that would feel since I work directly for the owner or president. I have the other side where when I leave I leave my people and that is super hard. I stayed in my last job far longer than I wanted to because of my team. I'm sure it was difficult for her. Hopefully her replacement will turn out to be even better.

Good Morning!

I'm almost back to normal after the yucky virus. Thank goodness because it's just exhausting being sick!! And some people (like my mom) just don't understand that sick or not I have to drag myself to work in this position. Thankfully it's not dragging on forever, so for that I'm very grateful. Maybe it's all the exercise and the weight loss making my body stronger to heal faster!! Who knows?

I'm going to go start that challenge today. I'm not sure exactly what folks want to do, so I'll start with a thread asking for input, then come up with a challenge for all of us. I've done really interactive daily kinds of challenges where I track what folks do on a spreadsheet based on what they tell me, then the winner gets some kind of goodie, but it has never worked that well with this group. I'll work on some other kind of challenge that we can all enjoy!!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!
