Wow Jon, that stepping right in is exactly why you went through this. Even a tiny run is better than no run at all!

Yay on getting billing done. Did you see my response on accounting software?

Carol, enjoy Alaska. RaChelle posted a couple of spectacular pictures on Facebook.

Jon, yardwork? I need a new yard. LOL

I'm getting out my August billing (yay, money!) and maybe going for a bike ride later with my son. He's picking up his new bow today too, so that's exciting. It's been so hot I haven't felt like doing anything outside, but it's been much cooler and less humid the last few days. So a bike ride sounds good. I'm still struggling to get to the pool :-(

I brought my dog Jax to my office to see how he would behave. He's being a good boy and lying in my office doorway snoozing. Okay, off to bill some bucks now...

Some yard work for my sadly neglected domicile. Had a great set of workouts this AM. I hit a light jog on the treadmill but couldn't hold it more than a few seconds. Definitely time for a new pair of running shoes as these are pretty worn out. Wow, I'm going to run again!

Addendum: Yay money coming in! Hi Jax (Don't call your dog in an airport!). The Missus has been doing the lawn with the riding mower and me doing trimming with a weed wacker. Rather than the riding mower I pulled out the old Honda walk behind. Last year it had sat for ten years and wow, it started on the first pull so natch it started right up this year. I had looked it up that high speed was 2 MPH, perfect I thought for some exercise. Took 45 minutes to do the front lawn but only one stumble. I got in another 30 minute swim but with the remains barreling up the coast it was pretty rough but I've a much improved kick. The best part? Always the little things. Since graduating from a shower chair I've always eased myself in with a hand on the shower door header. This afternoon, stepped right in without thinking about it.

I can hardly believe it's September! Christmas will be upon us before we know it!

I'm somewhere on the seas heading to Alaska! Today will be a quiet day. We'll go to the pool and I'll also do research for a school paper I have to write. This ship (the Solstice) is beautiful. I'm really happy we booked it. We booked "aqua class" which gives us a dining venue that serves light, fresh food, instead of the usual high calorie cruise ship food.

What are you guys up to today?
