Have fun Carol!

Wait until you drop her off at the dorms four years from now. Bring the big box of tissues.

Nothing quite like homemade but add in homegrown. The best ever.

Quiet here. Moving well, no pain (unless I sit too long and the muscles stiffen up).The Missus is out on a very long lunch with a couple of former co-workers. Nice they've kept meeting up a few times a year and they all enjoy it (HEATHER) so I'm making a garden salad (from our garden) and adding some chicken breast for whenever she gets home.

Carol - enjoy! I just sent you an email but totally get it if you can't read it until after vacation. Enjoy your trip!

Heather - holy eff - Sydney is in high school?! I remember her being in 5th grade! Woah... I feel old now. Can you do a meal with some of your old coworkers? Change can be a b1tch - *hugs*.

***

We had Mike's dad over for dinner yesterday and Mike made pizza, including using sauce he made from our tomatoes. OMG SO GOOD. The scale is up a bit though, due to the beer we had with the pizza.

I do NOT want to be at work today. _sigh_ I think I might head out early... is it the weekend yet?

On the agenda for the weekend is:
- mopping - I got halfway done yesterday but then Mike's dad arrived early so I want to finish that up
- we're buying a bedroom set from a friend who is moving, so need to get that into our house
- get the hammock up
- read
- nap
- get in a few workouts too

I'm considering cutting out alcohol, for at least a week but maybe longer. Having a beer with dinner or a gin and tonic at night has really been adding to the calories. We shall see...

Ugh I guess I should do some work. xoxo

PREGNANT due 3/2. Weight loss is definitely not a focus right now.

Carol, I hope you have a fantastic time!!! Share some pics when you can!!

I put my baby on the bus for her freshman year of high school today. I'm so excited for her, yet I am so choked up and I keep crying. I actually sobbed in the parking lot of the grocery store after I went in to buy my lunch. I also am missing my old friends from my old job pretty acutely today. I guess there's just been so much turmoil and change in my life and today I'm feeling it. Thank goodness it's Friday!!!

I'm going to relax and enjoy myself this weekend. We don't have any big plans, so I'm just going to immerse myself in my family, do some preparation for the upcoming craft fair season, and do some closet clean outs. I feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that's piling up in my house. I really need to clean it up. But one thing at a time. If I try to do the whole house at once, I'll end up just being exhausted and making even more of a mess!!

And, of course, I will workout because that has become my rock that keeps me sane!

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!

I thought I'd get us started since I'm on my way to the airport. Yay vacation! We get on the cruise ship this afternoon and I'm excited.
