So excited to see everyone's goals! Quick clarification on mine - those are total lost, not lost from today. I'm at 4 (almost 5) pounds down right now so my goal for Christmas is 22lb from now, 26lb total. :)

I haven't gained any with this long (6 weeks and counting) layoff but I can feel myself getting softer. I'm doing everything I could before but at a much lower intensity rate. I just need to get stronger so maybe I'll do a body fat percentage between now and Christmas.

I'd like to lose 20 by Christmas too. My problem will be sticking to a plan, which I don't currently have. I need to make one.

Amusement for the day: Netflix has an "oscillating fan" that "whirs gently in the background to keep things cool" What? Come again?

I was totally derailed on my plans to get into the pool yesterday, but I have lots more chances still this week.

I'll join in on that goal. 15 lbs by Christmas seems doable!

Oooh, I'll join you guys with a weight loss goal for Christmas! I need better motivation. I've accepted this new level of pain, but it would lessen if I lost weight so I will find more time. I'll go for twenty pound loss by Christmas! I'm going to start after I get back from vacation. We'll be doing so much hiking and stuff, I'll be able to hold my weight but then when I get back, I'll work at losing some!

Heather - your post about losing 15lbs by Christmas gave me the courage to update my ever-growing excel doc with weight data. I use this lovely spreadsheet to keep track of trends and also set reasonable goals for various upcoming dates.

My goals are:
- 10 yr anniversary on 10/3/16 - 191lb (12lb down)
- Thanksgiving on 11/24/16 - 182lb (21lb down)
- Christmas 12/25/16 - 177lb (26lb down)

Morning Heather! I hate when the site glitches and my posts don't show up. Blagh.

Yesterday was good food-wise AND I worked out this morning - 45min elliptical. Since the gym I can use while mine is closed is farther away, it meant a slightly shorter workout :-/. But I'm doing Step on Thursday and Cycling on Saturday so that should be fine.

The scale is just a touch down today but I'll take it! I'm hoping to get back to 5lbs down this week. And it all boils down to food so gotta keep that up! One day at a time. :)

Hi!! Well, I responded to Carol's thread yesterday but it doesn't seem to have posted up, so it just looks like I wasn't here yesterday!!

I'm back and had a great vacation!! Work is super busy, which is good!!

I'm still exercising every day and now I'm refocused on the food consumption so I expect to see the weight start to go back down again!! Woo hoo!!! I'd like to lose 15 more pounds by Christmas.

Have a FUN and ACTIVE day!!!!
